her heart raced at the image of kihyun, just standing in the distance, staring at her. she didn't know what he was trying to do, she didn't know the reason why he was there since he didn't have to take that test.

but she quickly broke the eye contact once wonho dragged her inside. she tried to push away the eerie feeling of kihyun and focus on the test instead.

as the professor talked and explain how the test was going to be, she received a text.

it was jooheon this time.

jooheon: listen... someone told me you have a big test today

jooheon: well... don't screw it

jooheon: we count on ya.

she couldn't help but smile at his weird yet cute way of wishing her good luck on her test, her fingers quickly moved as she typed back.

boki: is that your way of wishing me good luck?

boki: thanks jooheon, that's very sweet of you

immediately, he answered back

jooheon: yah! don't get your hopes up... i don't care about your grades

jooheon: but i know your mom does

jooheon: so don't disappoint her or i'll scold you.

her heart skipped a beat at the thought of jooheon being back in her hometown as today was his second day at the job. she acknowledged he seemed pretty excited about it and the idea of her mother and jooheon clicking somehow made her feel contented. she liked the thought of them getting along.

the professor told the students to keep their phones on their bags and finally the test started.

"yah... that was so evil." wonho said biting his pen. boki laughed.

"stop over reacting, it was okay... it came out everything from the guide-

"no... that's not what i saw!" he seemed stressed and nervous over a few of the questions he answered. the students left the classroom quietly as they handed their test back to the professor. once she walked out of the classroom her eyes widened when she found a familiar silhouette sitting and waiting for her.

wonho's eyes widened when he recognized kihyun "ah kihyunnie... how are you?"

his eyes were focused on boki's but for a split second he glanced at wonho and a sweet smile appeared on his pink lips. "wonho...it's nice to see you... i am fine, you? how was the test?" he asked now glancing at boki.

she swallowed hard, getting nervous of kihyun sudden question. she thought he'd leave. she'd never imagined he'd still be there after the test, two hours later.

"tsk. awful... i hope i get the minimun grade though." wonho said sighing.

he then turned to look at boki. "i am sure you'll ge it wonho... how about you?" he asked her. she took a strand of hair behind her ear as she tried to control her trembling hands. "i am confident... after all i studied long and hard."

kihyun's eyes turned into smiley rainbows. "that's my girl." he said taking a step towards her and grabbing her hand. wonho stared at the pair with shocked eyes.

"i hope it's okay... i want to take boki for some coffee... we'll see you later?" he said to wonho, who was nodding softly, eyes still widened.

"s-sure."

boki frowned as kihyun led her away from the classroom and from wonho. "what was that for?" she asked softly.
