The Professor - Reader/Katie Mcgrath Imagine

"You better come visit us soon, (y/n). You're actually kind of fun."

"uh, thanks."

Nicole laughs and moves on to hug Katie goodbye while you hugged Azie and Andrea.

"For the love of god, please communicate better. We can't be coming back and forth between the two countries because neither of you can tell each other how you feel."

Andrea tells you when she pulls back from the hug. 

"It won't happen again. I swear."

She nods and then the three of them make their way to airport security while you and Katie walk back to her car. 

"So we have the whole weekend to ourselves. Do you want to come over?"

"I'm sorry. I would love to but someone gave us a lot of homework for the weekend and I need to start today or else I won't get to finish."

"It wasn't me! I'm just following my friend's schedule and assignments. Frankly, I think you have a lot to do. Maybe I can help you out."

You lean against the car while you wrapped your arms around her neck. 

"The offer sounds tempting. Am I going to actually get any work done or are you going to be a distraction?"

"(y/n), please. I'm your professor. I'll let you get your work done. I need to review some scripts so I'm not going to bother you."

You don't believe her 100% since Katie was always the one who would end up distracting you when the two of you had tutoring.

"Fine but if I don't finish the homework, you're giving me an extension."

"We'll see."

"Babe, stop. I need to get this work done."

Katie pouted as you tried to take off her legs that she had wrapped around your waist so you wouldn't leave her in the middle of the kiss. 

"One more kiss?"

"No, don't do that face. That's not fair. I'm gonna go home if you don't let me start in the next minute."

She sighs and leans in to kiss your cheek before letting you go. 

"Let me help you so you can finish faster. I want to watch a movie with you."

You pulled out your laptop and brought up the assignment that Katie explained during the class the day before."

"So what you're going to do here...."

 "Finally! Now we can order some take out. I'm famished and quite exhausted. I'm definitely talking to my friend about taking some of these assignments off. Does she think that no one has a life? I could've spent the last hour, cuddling with you but instead I had to help you with your homework so you could hurry up and finish."

"and here I was thinking that I would be the one who couldn't last a minute apart. You're too cute. Are you okay with pizza or what are you in the mood for?"

"Pizza definitely works for me. We can eat it in my bed."

You nod and ordered the pizza while cleaning up the mess that you had made while you completely the homework.  It wasn't a lot but it had occupied most of the coffee table. 

"Pizza gets here in 20 minutes. You don't mind if I take a quick shower, right?"

"Nope. Go ahead. I'm going to give Nicole, Azie and Andrea a call while you do that."

"Say hi to them for me."

After a quick shower and raiding Katie's closet, you made your way to the living to see if the pizza had come. 

"Katie, did th..."

"Oh my god! The two of you fucked!"

Nicole yells out loud as she sees you step out of Katie's room in her clothes and fresh out of the shower. You blush brightly and shake your head, making Katie jump in to your rescue since you couldn't answer.

"Oh hush. We didn't. Now stop being so invested in us. I feel like we should really find you a date, right guys?"

Andrea and Azie agreed, knowing that it would just annoy Nicole. 

"Okay, fine. I get it. I won't put my nose in your business. We'll let you go now since I have a feeling that it's movie night tonight."

"Yep! Bye guys. Miss you already."

They bid you goodbye as well. The doorbell rings as Katie hangs up. 

"I'll get it."

"Oh no. I paid last time. Let me pay for it this time."

"No way. I'm not letting you pay, Katie."

The two of you continue arguing back and forth until you distracted her with a kiss and used that opportunity to rush to the door and pay the delivery guy.

"So unfair."

"All is fair in love and war."

The two of you ate the pizza and watched a movie in Katie's room despite your best attempts to do it in the living room. All Katie said was that she wanted to cuddle with you and refused to end up falling asleep in the couch as it wasn't comfortable. 

"I'm glad that they made us sit down and talk."

Katie tells you once you turned off the lights for the two of you to go to sleep.

"Me too. I missed you too much."

"and I missed you."

Katie smiled and wrapped her arm around your waist to pull you close to her so she could be the big spoon. Soon enough, the two of you fell fast asleep unaware that a picture was going around social media of the two of you.
