"beth sweetie...you almost stabbed your father" i put a hand on her shoulder and the room went quiet and i started bursting out laughing
"mom you were a terrifying kid" summer says joining me laughing leaving beth just stuck in shock "anywayssss how about we go to the mall because cause mom as much as you look good in my clothes you need some of your own" beth stands up "I call picking out grandma y/n's clothes" summer runs out the room to which i'm assuming is to the car and I chuckle a little standing up and following them to the car
"where are you guys going" jerry stands up from watching interdimensional tv damn it's been a while i'll make sure to watch some when i get back "going shopping for my mom and no jerry you can't come" I watch jerry slouch back into the couch obviously sad that he's been doing nothing for the past hour and to be honest i did feel kinda bad but not that much cause i walked right past him without a word
I sat in the seat next to the driver's seat and as i put my seatbelt on i look back to see an eager summer "jeez someone's eager" I laugh and summer starts going on about what would look good on me and that she has a good fashion sense the whole car ride and in all honesty i didn't mind
We finally get there and summer starts dragging us inside and into one of her favorite stores apparently and as i was looking at the clothes i realized it honestly really wasn't for me but i'll put my faith in summer
"ok I know the clothes don't really match your style and by the way yes I know what type of clothes you probably wear your personality gives it away" summer was pretty confident about this which was honestly the reason i trusted her to pick out the right thing
She starts going through the racks and beth and I just watched her do her thing "you must love doing this with summer" i say to beth but she looks down at her hands "ya we don't really do things like this" I give her a nudge and she looks up at me "well sweetie it's never too late to try" I give her a nice smile and she returns one back and that's when summer finally comes back and hands me a pile of clothes
"go in the changing room and make an outfit out of this pile" she pushes me into the changing room and the lady working there points me to one of the dressing rooms and i'm put into a small but not to small room with a mirror and a place to set down the clothes and i started working with whatever summer gave me

"holy shit...I look hot thanks summer" I say to no one in particular and I walk out of the changing room putting all the clothes that I didn't use into the pile that the lady pointed at and i walked to summer and beth
"so how do I look" summer and beth get up immediately looking at me in shock "grandma y/n just know rick is going to lose his sh*t" I smile really hard thinking of the times back in high school when i would dress to impress rick...but then of course i stopped when we finally got together
" mom in all honesty you look younger than me" she looks at me up and down in a good way of course "now for hair and this one's for all of us" summer walks to the cash register and beth pays for the clothes and summer drags us to to a salon

We walk back into the house all of us admiring each others new looks and we set all of our bags down on the dining table and head to the living room and the boys were watching interdimensional table which reminded me that I was going to watch some
"grandpa rick what do you think of grandma y/n's new look" summer says with a smirk on her face "what are you- " rick turned around but stopped talking when he looked at me and i started blushing under his gaze "holy shit y/n you're hot" he gets up walking towards me and before he says anything else I give him a quick kiss making him smile just a bit "awhhh" beth says looking at us then she looks to jerry
"so jerry see anything different" beth says flipping her hair and when jerry looks at her he takes a moment or two to answer "uhhh"
I give him a deathly glare and point at my hair hoping he takes the hint "ohh your hair, ya it looks nice" he gives his half assed answer when my beautiful daughter was standing there looking gorgeous "i'm gonna kick his ass" i mumble under my breath causing rick to laugh
"stop talking jerry you f*cked up the moment alrEADy" Rick takes another swig from his flask walking to the garage and I follow while listening to the voices of summer go off on her father but eventually they fade out
