Rick Sanchez X Reader

A/N: Adventure timeeeeee so since i'm actually making this at 12 pm wow ikr it's not a 4am chapter, this is going to be the episode where we go into the car battery with the mini verse and awayyyyy we goooooo

Y/n's pov

"geez, I can't believe we found a version of earth with a ball fondlers movie franchize" morty says in a happy tone from the movie we just watched "I can't believe the things this world considers pg" I say causing rick to start paying attention to the convo since i joined in

"yeah i-i'm pretty jealous" morty looks down and rick puts an arm over my shoulder "well i wouldn't say that" I chimed in and morty gave me a confused look  "Don't be morty, there's pros and cons to evERY alternate timeline" Rick says grabbing everyone's attention "fun fact about this one is it's got giant telepathic spiders or at least it did last time rick and I came here" I remember the events of being here for the first time and losing my shit when i turned around and seen one of the spiders 

"It's also had eleven nine elevens anddd the best ice cream in the multiverseeee!" Everyone cheers at the ice cream part but i was slightly confused to what 9/11 was

"nine eleven" I questioned and they all stopped their cheering to look at me "ummm don't worry about it i'll tell you later" rick says and judging from all their faces it wasn't a good thing so i didn't go further into the subject 

"We're gonna go get some ice cream, motherf*ckers" rick pumps his hands in the air as we all get back in the car cheering again 

I hop in the passenger's seat while summer and morty hop in the back and when rick tries starting up the car the engine starts sputtering "oh,great" rick gets out the car with me following him along with morty "oh boy what's wrong rick is it the quantum carburetor" morty says causing me to laugh a little because i know ricks going to be in mortys ass about this one 

"Quantum carburator? jesus, morty you can't just add a sCI-fi word to a car word and hope it means something" i give morty a pat on the shoulder "don't worry morty he was up in my ass about the same thing once" and he shoots me a small smile so in return i ruffle his hair up a bit

"huh, looks like somethings wrong with the microverse battery, we're gonna have to go inside" rick puts the the square box back in it's place leaving morty and I confused "microverse?" i question and then morty speaks up "um, go inside what?" 

"The battery, you guys. Be right back, summer" his voice gets louder towards the end which caught summers attention "stay put don't touch any buttons and ignore all random thoughts that feel... spidery" I quiver a little knowing what thoughts he's talking about "wait, you can't leave me here!" summer protest "don't worry sweetie the car will keep you safe" I reassure her 

"ship, keep summer safe" rick says pointing at the ship and the ship repeats ricks words and then we teleports us in the battery before we say anything else 

"oh, man where are we rick?" morty says while I just looks around knowing we're in the car battery "morty, remember eight seconds ago when YOu said, go inside what? and I said, the battery-" I cut him off cause his explanation was taking to long "alright alright, what he means to say is that we're in the car battery" I nudge rick in his side with my elbow giving him the be nice look and he just looks away ignoring my warning 

"huh, this isn't right, this pipes supposed to be sending 20 terawatts of juice up to the engine, y/n" I understand what he's saying while morty stands there making a duck face and looking around in complete confusion  

"Instead we've got... zero?" I look over his shoulder looking at the computer rick is reading from 

"now what are these people doing?" rick types away at the computer "w-w-w-whoa, people?" morty responds causing rick to groan I tune them out as i walked about looking at all the stuff inside and that's when what we were in starts moving catching me off guard and I fall on my ass

"hahaha should've held on to something" rick laughs at me not even bothering to help but morty does and i give him a grateful thank you and glare at rick 

"Holy sh*t" I look out the window and morty walks over to see what i'm talking about and looks as surprised as I was "Holy crap! I thought we were inside your car battery, rick" morty starts going on about this new place  

"Thanks, morty. I'm pretty proud of this bad boy, oh check it out" rick gets both of our attention and we walk over back to the computer "I put a spatially tesselated void inside a modified temporal field until a planet developed intelligent life I then introduced that life to the wonders of electricity-" I cut him off to start explaining myself  because it was all making sense now 

"which they now generate on a global scale and then some of it going into your car battery, right? honestly not a bad idea" he looks at me and smiles a little "thanks y/n I really appreciate it and also some of it charges my phone and and such" which causes me to make a o shape with my mouth and nodding to myself cause that makes sense 

"you have a whole planet sitting around making power for you" morty questions making rick drop his smile "it's not that deep morty and plus only SOME of it goes to the battery" I try clearing it up but morty wasn't having it 

"but still, that's slavery" morty says while making hand gestures with his words "It's society. They work for each other morty" Rick explains more while i look back at the window and i see a statue of rick with little antennas on his head and i laugh a little because of how silly he looked 

"That just sounds like slavery with extra steps" I tune back into the conversation in confusion "ooh-la-la, someone's gonna get laid in college" I put a hand over my mouth holding in the laugh I almost let out

"look morty, usually I'd get on rick for being mean but to be honest he's not wrong it's really not that bad, you're just looking into it to much" I put a hand on his shoulder but he just stares at me blankly and that's when I knew he wasn't gonna give up his little protest

Can you guys believe it i actually made a chapter at a normal time in the day, i'm so proud of myself but anyways I don't have much to say rn so see you in the next one
