Levi x Reader - Her Reckless Behaviour

I stand on my heels behind Levi as he knocks on the door to the Commander's office. When we get the okay to enter we find Hange already seated infront of his desk.

"Nice of you to join us," says the commander not looking up from his papers. I salute before taking a seat on the chair next to a serious Hange.

"We're here to discuss our actions towards Noah correct?" he places his papers neatly next to him and sits his elbows on the desk. I give him a nod and he lowers his elbows looking down in thought.

"As you might be aware," I look over at Hange and notice her eyes are beaming with anticipation before looking back at Erwin, "Noah is able to get inside my head as well as appearing in what he explained as a hallucination illusion. I'm not sure if it only works with me but I do know that he is technically there physically."

"Is there a distance at which he can't communicate with you?" I shake my head at Hanges question explaining what happened in town, "I see," she puts a hand up to her chin.

"My worry," I glance over at Levi remembering what he said, don't worry (y/n) i'll make sure you're okay, "Is that he'll do it during the mission tomorrow putting me and the other cadets at risk,"

"Hm," Erwin raises his chin as he thinks of what can be done.

"I say we take him with us," Levi stands behind Erwin arms crossed his eyes cold. I look at him in shock.

"What?"

"You heard me. We take him with us and keep a close eye on him. He could come in handy," he raises his shoulders giving a slight shrug.

"I agree," I'm shocked hearing them discuss this plan. It makes sense but that's just even more dangerous.

"How will you get him to cooperate?" I ask biting my lip and notice a slight smirk coming from Levi, I resist the urge to roll my eyes.

"Well...we will give him an offer. Either he cooperates on this mission or he goes straight to the MP's apparently he's wanted," shrugs Erwin leaning back in his chair.

"I see," I watch the sun as it sets behind the mountains through Erwin's window filling the room with a warm glow.

"Hange and I will go tell him the offer. Grab some dinner cadet," I nod standing up and giving a salute before heading out.

I know I should probably listen to the commander but I want to try something out. I head towards my room thinking about how I can talk to Noah. Once I get to my room I take a deep breathe and let it out through my mouth, all right here goes nothing.

"Hey Noah?" nothing so I shut my eyes, "Noah?"

"Look at you sis, getting the hang of it," I open my eyes to find Noah sat at my desk.

"Mom and Dad manipulated you into thinking I was something bad right? Because, I can do all these things? Well...." I cross my arms, "Doesn't that make you something bad too?"

"I was waiting for you to ask that," he stands up with a grin pacing around my room, "Nice curtains," he points at my brand new curtains and I scoff,

"So what's it mean now? We're basically the same," I ask him an eyebrow raised.

"But I was brought back to avenge their deaths,"

"I don't even know why I'm like this!" I exclaim getting frustrated.

"That doesn't make us equal!"

"But we are!"

"No! Were! Not! You're evil!" he leaves and i'm left alone.

Left with his words I lay in bed after a few minutes someone knocks on my door. I don't say anything but simply bury my head in my pillow.

"(y/n)?"

"Not now Levi," he shuts the door softly and walks over,

"What's wrong brat?" I sit up and look at Levi my eyes red from the tears and I watch his eyes gaze turn into one of concern and worry.

"Do you think," I stop myself and take a deep breath, "Do you think i'm evil?"

"What?" For some reason those words struck through my heart like a sharp knife. I feel my chest tighten and I close my eyes to stop the tears from falling. Levi pulls me into his arms patting my head gently as I tightly hold onto his shirt. "You're not evil (y/n), you've never been and you never will be," he strokes my hair as I sink my face deeper into his chest.

"You smell good," I say muffled and he chuckles whispering a thank you.
