I was packing my stuff when I heard someone come in. I groaned

Me: What is Mom?

Mom placed something on my head. When I looked up, I saw her crown and I looked back at her

Me: Mom? You're giving me your crown? Why?

She sat down on my bed and I sat down next to her. I feel like we're about to have a serious talk

Mom: Darling, I'm sorry

I gasped. My mom NEVER apologizes. So why is she doing it now?

Me: What did you say

Mom: Don't make me say it again

I glared at her

Me: Why say "sorry" now? After you've treated me like dirt throughout the years and insulting me every chance you get. What's the catch?

Mom sighed and looked at me

Mom: Y/N, have you noticed that I only do that in front of the others, but when we're alone I'm nice?

Me: I did but I can't tell when you're being genuine or not. Heck, you could be playing me right now!

Mom: Y/N I promise I'm not. I'm only cruel to you in front of the others because I need to look evil in front of them. Now, don't get me wrong, I did try to kill Alice and I still wish she was dead, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad mom. I truly do love you Y/N And I'm sorry that I haven't been a good mother for telling you the truth sooner. The only reason I'm doing it now is that you're going to Auradon and I might not ever see you again. Once you have Fairy Godmother's wand, I promise I'll be a better mother to you. And I won't put on a show for the others

Wow. Just..... Wow. I never in a million years pictured that my mom loved me. I gave her the biggest hug and cried into her shoulder. She hugged me back instantly. We stayed there for a moment when I heard Cruella yelling at Carlos to come back. I reluctantly let go and smiled at her

Me: I love you Mom, but I have to go

She smiled at me

Mom: Then finish packing and go get that wand

We both chuckled as she headed out of the room and I finished packing. I headed outside to see Mal staring up at her mom. I put my bags in the trunk and sat down next to Carlos inside of the limo. Mal came in last as she closed the door. We heard our parent's voices as we drove away

Jafar: Bring home the gold!

Cruella: Bring home a puppy!

EQ: Bring home a prince!

Mom: Bring home Alice's head!

Me, Carlos, and Jay looked to the front and saw lots of sweets. We all looked at each other before I shoved the boys out of the way and grabbed a handful of sweets and stuffed them in my mouth. I swear I could feel my mouth watering. That tasted so good!

Me: Mmm, Carlos, Jay, you've gotta try this. It's salty like nuts and sweet like I don't know
