The day in the life

SUMMER POV

"Kai come back here and uncuff me!" I whined. Hearing him in the bathroom I guess fixing his hair before leaving. This is the part of Kai I disliked the most.

He walked out smiling "you know the rules and you broke it. So now you have to be punished!".

"Kai I'm going to count to three and you better let me out of here... one..." I said.

He laughed "cute! I'm not mason. But I will take the kids to school and my sister is watching mason today. So you'll have all day to think about why you did what you did".

Wiggling my arm roughly "Kai?! Seriously?!". He knelt down "I told you. When I feel like I'm losing you then I have to resort to doing this. I hate doing this to you. But you ask for this". He tried to kiss me but I moved my face.

"You're mad now. But later you'll have a change of tune" he said. Small knocks at the door with a commotion going on "Mya didn't I say to wait downstairs?!".

"Daddy! Mommy needs to fix my hair! The braid is loose!" Mya yelled through the door. Kai sighed "umm okay hold on". He quickly came over and let one wrist out the cuff.

He opened the door and mya came running in "mommy fix my hair, please?!". Using the one free arm I tightened the braid and she smiled "okay I'm ready".

"And where your sister?" Kai asked.

She shrugged "can mommy take us to school today?".

"Nope" Kai answered.

"Why?" She asked. Got to love kids and their questions.

"Because mommy doesn't feel well. Hence why she's in bed" he said. Mya raised her brow and looked at me "she looks fine to me".

"Mya go downstairs and wait for me" Kai said. She sighed and walked out the room. Kai closed the door "that little girl is something else".

"So smart..." I said.

He glanced at me before walking out. Hoping he would forget but he smiled "almost..." hooking my arm back in place "I'll see you later".

"What if I get hungry?" I asked.

"I got that covered don't you worry" he smiled.

Many of you are probably wondering why Kai has me handcuffed to the bed... well it started like this.

Harlow wanted to go out. Normally I would be down for that but I wasn't in the mood. So I declined her invitation early on. Planning on staying home. But Harlow is very persuasive when she wants something. About one in the morning she convinced me to meet her outside.

Now Kai was asleep. I didn't want to wake him. Figured I'll be back before he even suspects I'm gone.

Wrong...

The club we went to was lit. Like everyone was out that night. It was nice to see Harlow letting loose and having a good time. Poor girl has been stressing. Another story for another time.

Anyway... as four in the morning hit. The club was closing. Harlow was good and so was I. Now we got a Uber back to my place. Harlow was more than welcome to stay over as she did plenty of times before.

Trying to be quiet as a mouse to sneak back inside my home. Kai was sitting there in dim lighting pissed off. Honestly when I saw him I was scared. Wasn't expecting to see him there.

But he was pissed and to make matters worse we were both saucy. Especially Harlow. Kai couldn't even speak. He just stared at us and walked back to our room. Harlow knew I was in trouble. She looked at me and shook her head "someone going to be cuffed up tomorrow".

I wish she was joking.

Not for nothing I am a mom. Of three kids. Ranging from the ages of six to three. My life revolves around my children and Kai. I don't usually get breaks to just be myself. It's either I'm a mom or a wife. (Not sure if I had them married?).

The next morning I woke up to the bed handcuffed. Kai was just staring at me "I don't like when summer is a bad girl".

Never mind I was slightly hung over but now I was here...

Luckily when Harlow gets here she can release me from this bed. And I have to pee!.

But I'm at the point of enough is enough now.
