Jihyo walked in pace with Nayeon, the two keeping a low profile as they were in Japan. Their appointment was soon and to be honest, they were completely nervous. Not everyone who walked into the Hirai clan headquarters would walk out. They just hoped to get the necessary contracts and be on their way.

--

An older man walked to his desk, his dark hair showing little signs of greying as he walked. Four girls trailed behind him, each one taking a place in front of his desk. He sat peacefully, a smile on his face.

"You four are my pride and joy." He whispered. "Momo may be my only blood, but each one of you have a special place in my heart and a place in this family." He added. The four bowed to him, knowing they were the best of the best of his clan. The only four to ever complete their missions with added bonuses.

"We do our best." Momo whispered. "And we will continue to make you proud father." She smiled.

"Good. Now, I have a meeting with a very important boss later." He sighed, fingers running over his desk before tapping his index finger on the wood. "She wants four contracts to help her with her endeavors." He explained.

"You want us to be those contracts?" Tzuyu asked quietly.

"Sadly yes. As much as we need you four here, you would do her much good. As they are for revenge." He chuckled. "Her father was a close business man of mine. Taken out by an idiotic gang leader." He sighed.

"I thought your meeting was later." Mina smirked, knowing that Mr. Hirai always did his research on all potential clients.

"It is." He chuckled. "I want you four there in this meeting. Added security." he whispered. "Just in case." He winked. "Besides, the girls only speak Korean, and your four are the only ones who speak it."

"Perfect." Sana smiled. "Told you those lessons would pay off." She smirked while nudging Mina.

"You got lucky." Mina pointed out.

Nayeon tried her best not to show how terrified she was as she sat across from the most feared leader in Japan. Four girls stood behind him, all dressed as if they were ready to kill already.

"Four contracts, three months each." He stated while looking over the paperwork. "Offering a hundred thousand." He sighed while looking over the numbers.

"We were told your prices varied, and we knew they were going to be high." Jihyo sighed. The two leaders watched as a girl translated, watching his face change from plain to now unreadable.

"Tzuyu." He waved slightly. They watched as the tallest girl walked closer to him, taking the paper from his outstretched hand. "You know what to do." He whispered. She nodded, taking the paper with her and walking over to a separate desk. She opened her laptop, immediately hacking into whatever servers she needed for information. After a few minutes, she walked her laptop over, showing their bank accounts to him.

"Not much." She whispered. "Barely enough..." She frowned.

"As expected." He sighed. "Your accounts are low. But enough to pay regular price." He frowned as Sana began to translate for them. "I understand after your father's passing, that your accounts were not in the best of shapes." He added.

"We have done our best to gather enough money for this. We need the extra help in order to pull off what we need." Nayeon frowned. "I've spent years trying to collect the amounts."

"Nayeon.. Your father was a close business friend of mine. I'd hate to see his daughter struggling like this." He frowned. "I will give you the four contracts at a discounted price. Fifty thousand, for five months." He stated.

After Sana had translated for them, Nayeon and Jihyo were in disbelief. They were told the leader was ruthless and never did anything like this. Jihyo had asked what the catch was, of course there was none.

"When do we meet our contracts?" Nayeon asked.

"You're looking at them." He smiled.

Momo let out a sigh as they adjusted to the new place. She shared a room with Sana, something that was a given since they were practically attached at the hip most days. She put her bag on the little table at the end of the bed, looking around at the decor. Sana walked in not too long after, a small smile on her face.

"What makes you so happy?" Momo asked her.

"We haven't spent much time together this past week. Sorry I'm really excited to spend time with you." Sana smiled, wrapping her arms around her neck.

"You know I don't mix business with pleasure." Momo smirked, pressing her lips to her neck.

"Mmm I beg to differ." Sana giggled, letting out a squeal when Momo lifted her up and carried her to the bed.

Tzuyu rolled her eyes when she heard Sana's moans through the wall. She put her earbuds in, turning up the music as she paged through her most recent fascination, dog training. To be entirely specific, the art of training attack dogs. She wanted to add a furry companion in her life, but she didn't want them to be defenseless.

Mina didn't bother to unpack at all, just throwing her bag into her room and wandering the mansion until she found what she was looking for. A balcony. She wandered out, leaning against the fence that blocked her from a sudden and most likely painful death. She looked out at the horizon, seeing the cities below her. It was nothing like the last manor she had been in.

She saw the haze over the sky, pollution blocking her view of the world. Granted, she saw this when she was back home, but her room only had the one window, and not that many landscape artworks like her own room back home.

"I see you found the most terrible view." A voice called. Mina turned her head, seeing a woman walking towards her. She had short blond hair, taller than she was, but not by much.

"Sorry, I don't answer to anyone but Jihyo and Nayeon." Mina muttered, turning her attention back to the view in front of her.

"But you answered me just now." The woman smirked, leaning her back against the fence next to her. "And I'm not giving you any orders, just maintaining conversation." She shrugged. "Jeongyeon. Nayeon and Jihyo's second." She introduced.

"I never asked." Mina muttered, walking away from her.
