The next days seemed absolutely heaven for both Scorpius and Albus, compared to what they had to go through the year.
The curse seemed to have calmed down and they had even succeeded in snogging in their room twice without making things exploding, but when they had tried to go further, the books on the shelves had fallen on the floor and they had to spend the rest of the night relocating them.
«God, Scorp, stop! You have been studying for the whole afternoon!» Albus yelled, earning an "Shh!" from a Gryffindor sat on the table next to them, «You can take a break, you know? The Herbology essay won't go away» he leaned closer to him, placing his chin on the taller's shoulder «Not like me if you continue ignoring me».
Talking about books, they were now in the middle of May and the last exams and tests were being taken. Hell for most of the Hogwarts' students. Apart from the young Malfoy, of course.
While Albus hated studying, Scorpius did not and that's why the blond always tried helping him, only succeeding three times each ten.
That evening was one of the many unsuccessful attempts.
«Al, stop, people could see us» the taller blushed, trying to focus on the papers in front of him, but he could feel the brunet's eyes on him and his cheeks won't stop reddening because of that, «Ten more minutes and we can go back to our dormitory and talk about whatever you want».
«You said that fifteen minutes ago».
«I promise»
But Albus sighed, «Okay, but I'll stay here as long as you finish my Potions essay and as long as I can watch you studying».
«That's creepy» the blond chuckled.
«Those are my conditions. So?» the raven-haired repeated.
«I have already corrected the last paragraph of your History of Magic essay, Al. I'm not your slave», the blond let out a heavy sigh.
«You would like to if it wasn't for this fucking curse» the green-eyed grinned and then laughed at how red Scorpius' cheeks had got.
«God, I hate you» he whispered, his head even lower than before in order to avoid the eye-contact.
«No you love...» he stopped.
Fortunately. He didn't want to make one of them bleed in the middle of the Library.
«Okay, okay, I will write the introduction and the first paragraph, but you'll have to finish it yourself» the blond gave up and Albus immediately hugged him, his arms around the blond's chest, smiling like a baby at the taller's scent
It reminded him of sunflowers. Of home. Because Scorpius was his and he knew it.
«Thank you, thank you, thank you» he repeated, «God, you're the best b-»
«Hi, guys. Sorry for interrupting you. Can I talk with you- Albus- for a second?»
It was Rose who had approached their table.
«We're busy, don't you see?» the young Potter bit. He still didn't like his cousin very much although the many summers spent at the Burrow together.
«Please, it's important» the red-haired begged.
«Then talk» Albus gave up when he caught a glimpse of emergency in her eyes «Scorpius can listen».
«That's family matters» she tried.
«That's why he can listen».
Scorpius smiled.
«Okay, I'll make it quick» she murmured and stepped closer to them «Some people, from all the houses, not only Gryffindors, are asking me if you two got together. The ones who have already given that for assured, are planning to put a huge prank on you two next year-»
