they were all excited to see the picture of their child in the sonogram picture. with their dumbness, i doubt they'll understand what they'll see anyway so whatever. taeyong gave out the picture to them with a smile.

"don't tear it apart." taeyong warned. he sat on his couch as he ate his pasta. it was a sunday and taeyong didn't have to go to his office. ten saw something different with taeyong, and so he quietly walked away from their friends on the other side of the couch. he sat beside taeyong, hand running through his shoulders.

"you okay, honey?" ten whispered. taeyong looked at him and that's when he saw taeyong's swollen eyes. it was like he cried all night. did he? ten thought.

"what happened?" he knew he had to ask the boy so he did it now. "it's nothing, tennie. i'm fine."

of course, he didn't believe whatever the boy said. with eyes as swollen as those, there was something going on. he just let the older be and came back to watching tv in front of them.

"hey tae, why are your eyes swollen?" sicheng asked. finally, i'm not the only one who noticed. ten thought.

"you don't look so good, did you cry all night?"

taeyong didn't wanna talk about him but he needed to get it off his chest. "i couldn't sleep last night." he said as he placed his plate down the table. "i just read back our texts, nothing big."

"your puffy eyes says otherwise." doyoung said.

"hyung you could've called me. you could've woken me up, my room was right across the hall." mark said worriedly sitting beside his brother. "don't worry you guys, i'm okay now. there's nothing to worry about." taeyong tried to sound okay in front of his friends but it was clear from their face that they're not convinced.

"staying up all night is bad for the baby, tae. you know that." jungwoo said.

"dude, let's be real here. do you still feel something for jae?"

taeyong couldn't speak. he didn't wanna hear his friends say how dumb he was for not getting over jaehyun sooner. he sat quiet fidgeting with the end of his hoodie. "you do, don't you?" he suddenly let out another batch of tears fall from his eyes as he leaned his head against ten.

"i say you go get him back, tae." jungwoo said.

"do you know that he still loves you too?"

jaehyun brought breakfast for taeyong the next day. he does this for a couple days already because he told taeyong to rest for a few days. taeyong didn't want to skip work but he only did the man a favor although jaehyun wanted him to rest until they have the baby. jaehyun has been coming back since 3 days ago.

this time, jaehyun brought him belgian waffles and bacon grilled cheese with taeyong's favorite soup. jaehyun brought a lot of food everyday because he wanted the baby to come out chubby and cute. it's always excessive and taeyong knew he wasn't going to finish all of it but jaehyun was there to eat his left overs.

"eat up, i have your favorites." jaehyun placed the bag on the center table as the boy awed in hunger.

they opened all the food boxes and started digging in. jaehyun admired how taeyong ate his food. he sat there, quietly staring at the boy. "stop being a creep, jung."
