Until dawn (reader insert)

As the spirit board had just been set up, you, Chris, Ash, and Josh sat around the table while Kiara leaned against the wall careful not to set off her flamethrower.

Josh looked at Kiara worriedly wondering if she should be in the prank or not. After all Kiara was the only one out of the group who was deeply affected by the twin's death just like him.

Josh snapped out of his thoughts when chris began reading the instructions half wrong. "to communicate with the spirit world you must free your mind of all preconceptions, drop all inhibitions, and generally give yourself over entirely to the will of others, sublimating your every desire to the whims of the Spirit-master, which is me" you rolled your eyes at chris's remark

"It doesn't say that" Ashely stated the obvious as chris continued wrongly "and all present will remove their garments at my sole discretion-" Josh cut him off "come on chris this is serious" "oh i am deadly serious" chris replied and you sighed.

"Can you just shut up chris and we can get going on the spirit board?" You said making chris shut up and you heard a slight giggle from kiara and caught Josh smiling at her giggle from the corner of your eye.

As the seance went on, You noticed that Josh began to get scared and frustrated as Kiara was shaking her head at the nosense going on. Eventually the pointer flew off the board and Josh got up and started yelling at you, Chris, and Ashley before he stormed off.

You looked at Kiara who quickly followed him to try and calm him down. You looked at Ashley who was scared to death with Chris trying to calm her down. Soon enough the three of you went to check out the library and books came flying out at you.

Ashley screamed as Chris was freaking out and you noticed a button and pushed it revealing a hidden room. Chris and Ashley looked at each other confused before chris entered the room and found a threatning note towards Hannah and Beth.

Chris decided to keep the note a secret and the three of you began to walk through the lodge when you heard what sounded like Josh screaming and you all ran to it only for those doors to be closed when Ashley ran in.

You and chris started to try and bash the doors in eventually getting in to see Ashley was knocked out and a man wearing overalls and a white mask with black eyes and teeth sticking out with the pink flesh showing.

You began to panic as the pyscho knocked out chris and turned towards you. Suddenly you both heard screaming from outside, catching the pyscho off guard you shove him away from you and kick him down and go to run away but you see kiara coming in panting heavily.

"Kiara?" What are yo-" you began to say as the pyscho grabbed you and knocked you out as well. He turned towards Kiara and smirked under his mask, kiara growled and pointed her flamethrower at the pyscho who threw his hands up.

The pyscho took off his mask reveaking it was Josh and Kiara quickly put her flamethrower down and hugged Josh who smiled and hugged back. Josh put the mask back on and began to drag Ashley outside into the shed as well as you
