It was the middle of summer. Never in your life did you expect Karma to fall for you because of your body and a few insecurities you had. Thanks to him however you learned how to accept and love yourself. You were bored to the bone so you decided that annoying you lovely boyfriend was an ideal idea of spending your time.

-Karma.

-Yes?

-Karma.

-Yes, [Y/n]?

-Akabane.

-What is it, [Y/N]?

-Karma Akabane.

-OH MY GOD WHAT?!

-Hi. – you started giggling like a crazy person.

The look on Akabanes face was priceless for you. He only looked at you with the look of 'Are you fucking kidding to me?' and that only made you laugh harder.

-So Aka-kun why are you annoyed?

-I don't know. Because you are trying to annoy me and it's working?

-How do I annoy you?

-By calling my name over and over again.

-But your name is really pretty, Karma Akabane.

-Ugh...whatever.

There was a silence that was again annoying according to you and your bored mind. Usually you two would do something fun but the heat outside was killing you both.

You took one of the watermelon slices from the plate and ate it in even bigger silence. Now it was getting annoying for you. Karma only closed his eyes and was simply lying on the couch, head slightly turned in your direction.

-Akabane? Do you love me?

-Yes, [Y/N] I do. What's with the questions today?

You and Karma were dating for a year now. It was a happy relationship that you cherished really much. Akabane never judged you or your body. He liked your chubbiness with his whole heart, and you loved him and his imperfections. You were perfect for each other or at least that what people said about your relationship.

-Well, I'm simply bored. Entertain me! - you smiled at him brightly.

He looked at you for a moment and let out a sigh. A small smile found way at his lips and he walked out of your shared living room. He came back moments later holding your swimsuit in his hands. You turned bright red when he handed it to you.

-I'm going to get the pool ready, you get changed babe. – he kissed your forehead walking out to the backyard.

You quickly put the swimsuit on and walked out to meet with the sight of your boyfriend shirtless, pouring your favorite drink in a tall glass. You blushed slightly at Akabane. There weren't many occasions you could see him wearing such small amount of clothing.

Seeing your arrival he put the drink down and stretched his hand in your direction. You walked towards him and got a hold on his hand. He kissed your lips slowly, his hands slipping their way around your chubby waist. You tangled your hands into his hair slightly tugging at the end. He purred happily while kissing. Few moments later you parted from the loving kiss because the lack of air.

However you didn't do much after that and all you could feel was a push at your back. Before you knew it you were in the pool underwater. Soon after Karma jumped after you. You both stared at each other and you hit your boyfriend straight in the forehead.

-Idiot! Never throw me into the pool again. What if I didn't know how to swim?

The annoying and attractive grin on his face turned into small genuine smile.

-Then I would save you. No matter what and no matter the cost. You're the most important person in my life. – a closed eye smile found a way on his face.

You only looked at him for a moment and kissed the spot on his forehead that you hit earlier. Then you smiled and hugged him while standing in the pool.

-Are you entertained? – he asked after a moment of silence.

-Well you could do better. – you smiled sweetly at him.

After that you played some ball in the pool, enjoying the cold water against the hot summer. Time was passing really slowly but you didn't mind as long as the water was colder than the air. You were laying on a chair sunbathing till Akabane didn't pop his head out of water. You looked at him and he was intensely starring on your body. You were worried that him seeing your body like this gave him second thoughs if you were attractive but it soon changed after what he said next:

-By the way [Y/N]...

-Yes, Akabane?

-You look sexy in that swimsuit.

-KARMA AKABANE!!!

Let's say he was hit in the head a few more times that day. But you were smiling the whole time and that was the most important thing for him. And his simple mission was accomplished: "Make [Y/N] happy every single day an love her forever".
