Night Fury's Venom

-I've been asked a lot recently and in the past about advice for story writing, and most of the time, all I can really say is that it takes practice and patience—not to mention a good imagination. However, there is one thing that I've always stuck to.

抖阴社区 the unexpected stuff. Ask yourself what the reader expects to happen in the story, then do something totally different. Do it often, but not so much that nobody can follow the storyline very well. The unexpected event has to make sense somehow, instead of just being there to shock the reader.

One example is when I killed off Toothless. I can't say I've seen Toothless get killed in a story before, and I knew a lot of people didn't expect it, so I did it. But I didn't do it only because it was unexpected, I did it because it gave Hiccup/Auroon the motivational push to angle his path toward the Queen's demise. It was both unexpected and it progressed the story, boom-boom!

A/N Important: I'm sure some of your remember when I said there would be a strange part coming up, and in that I part I'm attempting to make you all question the characters' morals, right? Well, that part is now. There will be something unexpected in the last quarter of this chapter that is intended to be immoral, and I hope that I managed to write it well enough that you question the characters' actions. The after-effects of this even ends in the first quarter of the next chapter.

I only did it to test my skills as a writer, and I have no plans to recreate something like that in the future. The rest of NFV will not have anything like this, and neither will the sequel, I can guarantee that!

By the time Hiccup's pain tapered off completely, the sun had set below the horizon. Vaskr and Aurora had fallen asleep about an hour ago, and my eyelids felt heavy with fatigue. I periodically checked Hiccup's mind for leftover pain, but to my joy, he was only feeling relief.

It might really be over...

"Hiccup," I whispered, hearing a weary grunt. "C-Can I check your mind? Please?" He must have heard the desperation in my voice because he didn't hesitate to say a soft 'yes.'

I dove into his mind freely, encountering no resistance whatsoever. He trusted me completely, allowing me to do what I'dnever done to him before, even going as far as encouraging me to do so. He told me to enjoy myself like he knew what was going to happen.

I controlled his entire mind. Everything... Every. Single. Thought.

The feeling was extremely bizarre, I almost felt... disconnected from myself. I felt like I was Hiccup, the only thing in his mind being me. When I tried to talk to him, there was no response, no twitch... nothing. It was almost like Hiccup didn't exist anymore, I could go through thoughts or memories as if they were mine all along. I started to feel horrible about it until I remembered what Hiccup had said.

Hiccup told me to 'enjoy myself.' He wanted me to go this far and do... something with it—what exactly that 'something' was, I had no clue. So, I tried to pull out a memory of our first mating to test for a reaction. Nothing. There was no embarrassment, no resistance, well... there was my embarrassment for seeing our mating through the eyes and body of a male. And not just any male, Hiccup. And, of course, I moved on to our second mating. Moon above, that was awesome.

Holy crap, Astra was right, I am too dirty for my own good... but I don't think Hiccup would care. In fact, I think if he knew about this at all, he would tease me about it endlessly. I might as well get as much enjoyment as I can out of it if I'm gonna get laughed at.
