With Me

I woke from my sleep and noticed Joe was gone but my parents were there. Joe maybe has gone to see his brother again as we are allowed to see him according to a note left in Joe's handwriting.

"Hey how are you?" my mom asks.

"Good especially after my sleep".

" When do I see my grandkids".

"We can go now and I want to see Jordan too".

" OK let's just check with the nurse before we go".

I sigh and nod. I knew they won't take it lightly on me going. My dad comes back with a wheelchair so we can go and see both Sofia and Christian. We get to the nursery and there were lots and lots of cribs with babies in them. We find my babies.

"So what are they called".

" The girl is called Sofia and the boy is called Christian. Christian is older than Sofia by 20 minutes. He was 5lbs 2 and she was 5lbs 5.

"They are beautiful".

" You used the names that Jordan wanted I see" replied my mom. "Look so much like their dad".

The nurse comes over " You can hold them if you want. They may need feeding soon".
My mom picked up Sofia and was cradling and loving on her while my dad picked up Christian and started talking about sports. He longed for a son to be able to do that. It wasn't long for them to be wanting to be fed. Luckily my boyfriend wasn't there as he would have complained why two leeches are attached to his prized goods. Even though it's his children which are attached to them. They are the reason why his so-called prized goodies are they size they are. So it's lucky he is out of it. Once burped and changed, we left my babies to go and see my biggest child laying in the hospital. We didn't get far as Tiffany and Joe had come around the corner. I haven't seen Tiffany since the day I blow up in front of Jon and accused him of causing the accident.

"Joe says they have arrived. I want to meet my nephew and niece".

" Joe, you know where they are don't you?".

"Yes. Where are you going?".

" To see Jordan" I replied, "He's awake isn't he?".

" Yeah. But be careful. He has a serious head injury and has amnesia".

"Our mom and dad are with him at the moment" replied Tiffany.

"Why don't we see the twins then go".

" OK," I say.

We walk back to the nursery to my mom's delight. Tiffany's eyes lit up when she saw them.

"They look so much like their dad. They are beautiful" she replies "Can I?".

" Of course," I say as she picks up Christian as Sofia was sleeping. "Have you seen Jordan since his operation. Is he awake?".

" No, and yes" replied Tiffany as she plays with Christian. "I know their other grandparents will want to see them".

" They can when we see Jordan".

"I think he may want to as well. I think it might help him" replies Tiffany.

I look over and the nurse nods. And then we were off again. It takes a while but we were soon on the other side of the hospital, ICU. Although he is awake and not in a coma, Jordan was still here because of his head injury what with a drip in his head. As we get there both his parents just come out of his room. I have noticed Jon was not there again. As they walk out, they notice our group coming down the corridor.
