this was gonna be released tomorrow, but i got 30 followers now and i feel special so have this early release!!!!
You make your way down the stairs and find... a hallway.
...In all honesty, that's not what you were expecting.
Despite your scattered memory, you know for sure that all of the houses in game only had two floors max. It makes sense why they would leave out hallways, though. It's pretty nice, all in all. There's a bunch of doors that lead to different rooms. At the end, there's a window! It even has a flower next to it!
You're... not sure why you're so fascinated by the hallway.
At the end (the one with the window and the flower!), the hallway turns right into a second set of stairs. Walking down those leads you to a big room, where Cheren, Bianca, and your mom are waiting.
"We're very sorry about all of the trouble, ma'am," Cheren apologizes.
"Well, um... We can clean up..." Bianca offers.
Your mom, however, merely smiles. "Cleaning up? No worries. I'll take care of that later. Shouldn't you be on your way to Professor Juniper?"
Cheren looks incredibly relieved - and so do you. After all, you don't want to spend your first day of your Pokémon adventure cleaning up your room. "Yes, thank you! Please excuse us." He turns to Bianca and you. "Come on. Let's go thank Professor Juniper. I'll be waiting in front of the Pokémon Research Lab."
"Oh! Wait! I gotta go home first." Bianca turns to "your" mother. "Thanks for having us over!" And with that, the two walk out, leaving you alone once again.
"My, my, Y/N," your mom says right in your ear. Or... not.
You jump. "H-Hey! Don't sneak up on me like that!" Crossing your arms, you glare at this universe's version of your mother. She doesn't look like your real-life mother, though she does still resemble you - or do you resemble her? Maybe she's supposed to look like the mom from the games?
She gives you an apologetic smile. "Oops. Did I scare you? Sorry. Anyway, Pokémon battles are so lively, aren't they? I could hear their cries from clear down here!" She thinks for a moment. "Hm. That reminded me of my first Pokémon battle!" You're surprised. Your mother was a trainer? That's certainly different. "Oh, and you know? After a battle, you need to rest your Pokémon! Here, hand me Snivy for a sec." You do as she says, picking the starter up and transferring him into her arms. She pulls out a Potion and sprays it onto the injured grass snake, humming a familiar tune. Snivy chirps thankfully.
"Your Snivy is looking great! Oh, and if you're going out, don't forget your 'cross-transceiver'!" Your mother hands you a blue and black digital watch, which you recognize as an Xtransceiver.
"Thanks!" You slide the watch onto your wrist. It's a perfect fit.
"You're welcome, dear. You're going to thank the professor too, right? Better get going, honey!"
"Oh! You're right! See you later... Mom!" You run out the door, waving a quick goodbye to "Mom".
You step out of the door and are immediately amazed. The house you just left is brown with blue accents, and there's two more houses in front of it that look the same. A flock of bird-like Pokémon - Pidove, your mind supplies - is startled by the slam of the door behind you, flying off towards the beautiful sunrise. You wonder what this place is called. Two words pop into your mind: Nuvema Town. You smile. A fitting name for a new beginning!
