Transformers (2007) Rewrite

After that, we cut to Colonel Witwicky along with Lennox's team and a group of other soldiers trekking through the Vietnam jungles in search of the alien robot that got away, Lennox believing that he couldn't have gone too far. however little do they know that they are being watched by Ravage who stalks the men through the jungle picking off random soldiers one on one leaving Colonel Witwicky and Lennox's team as the only ones left before pouncing on poor Fig attacking him with his sharp metal teeth and claws, Fig screaming in pain begging for his teammates to get the metallic panther off of him. Lennox, Epps, Donnelly, and Burke all shoot at the metal beast forcing it to let go of the now-injured fig and dodge their bullets, the beast being too fast for the men to shoot at. Colonel Witwicky orders an air strike followed by a squad of A-10 thunderbolt jets to fly over the jungle to their rescue. the men keep firing at Ravage to keep it busy until the A-10s arrive and fire a barrage of missiles at Ravage forcing the beast to retreat, followed by Lennox and Epps rushing to Fig's aid to help him back up on his feet, however he can barely walk due to the injuries he sustained in the fight with Ravage. Colonel Witwicky requests a rescue helicopter to help get their injured teammate back to base to get medical treatment. as the troops board the chopper back to base, Lennox comforts Fig as he dies of his injuries. the rest of Lennox's commando squad bow their heads to mourn the loss of Fig. Lennox cries over his fallen comrade's lifeless body, showing that his team aren't just soldiers. they're family. all the while Colonel Witwicky begins to feel a sense of dread, with aliens on Earth he begins to worry for the safety of his wife and son and hopes that they're okay. meanwhile the injured Ravage hops into the back of Soundwave's vehicle mode before Soundwave drives back towards the Vietnamese military base. After that, we cut to Spike driving his new VW beetle up to Carly's house, Carly asking Spike what he's doing here. Spike then tells her that he came here to ask her if she would like to go with him on a romantic drive by the lake. Carly then looks at the old beat-up VW bug and asks him "in THAT thing?", Spike replying by saying that it's kind of a fixer upper, but at least it's still got four wheels and an engine and drives well. Carly reluctantly agrees and hops in the vehicle and the two drive down to the lake to watch the sunset. the car's radio then somehow turns itself on and plays various different love songs causing both Spike and Carly to become embarrased. Carly then asks Spike what the heck is going on with his car, and Spike tells her that he doesn't know himself, it's almost like the car has a mind of its own. Carly gets frustrated and gets out of the car, followed by Carly opening the beetle's hood. both Spike and Carly are shocked to see that the car has a strange engine unlike anything they've ever seen, it doesn't even look like something from earth, like it's some kind of alien engine or something. Spike then tells Carly that she knows a lot about cars, and she tells Spike that her father owns an auto-repair shop. Spike tells her that he also knows a thing or two about automobiles himself, as working on cars was a favorite hobby of his dad's, before he left him and his mom to join the army, Spike showing Carly the same old family photo he was looking at on the bus earlier. Carly looks at the photo and tells Spike that he was so cute when he was a kid. Spike then thanks Carly for her compliment and the two start bonding over their shared interest in automobiles. However this romantic moment is interrupted when Kicker shows up in his black Dodge Challenger, telling Spike that he is in big trouble catching poor Spike red-handed flirting with his girl, Kicker cracking his knuckles telling Spike that he's gonna give him the beating of a lifetime. Carly tells Kicker to back off, telling him that Spike didn't do nothing wrong and that he's such a jerk. Kicker is shocked to learn that Spike "goober-dork" Witwicky managed to successfully steal his girl before looking at Spike in the eyes and challenging him to a race, the winner determines gets the girl: Spike's bug versus Kicker's challenger. the two racers then hop in their cars and race laps around the lake, all the while Carly watches. however when it seems like Kicker is winning, Spike lets go of the steering wheel and car then starts driving itself, ramming against Kicker's fancy muscle car putting dents in his shiny new paintjob just to make him even more mad. Spike's beetle then crosses the finish line, much to the irritation of Kicker who asks Spike how the heck it was possible for Spike's dorky slug bug to beat his awesome Challenger in a race. Spike then puts his hand around Carly's shoulder, telling him that it wasn't him the car just has a mind of its own. Kicker then gets mad and starts kicking at the yellow VW beetle, however the car's door opens by itself hitting Kicker in the face causing him to fall face-first into mud while Spike and Carly laugh at his misery. Kicker then gets back up on his feet and tells him that he'll pay for this, wiping the mud off his face. However little do the three teens know that they're being watched from above, as we cut to Starscream flying over the lakeside in his F-22 mode where he detects an Autobot energy signature and realizes that it's coming from the yellow bug. meanwhile Kicker angry with his humiliation grabs Spike by the shirt and slams him against the hood of his car, telling him that he'll pay for his humiliation. however Spike manages to distract Kicker by asking him "is it me or is that jet plane flying a little too close to the ground?" and points to the F-22 coming straight towards them. the jet then fires a missile at Kicker's black Challenger blowing it up. Kicker is distraught over seeing his ride get destroyed, shouting "NOT MY CAR!" while Spike and Carly hop in the yellow bug followed by Spike telling Kicker to get in if he wants to live. Kicker reluctantly hops in the backseat and the yellow bug starts to drive off-road to get the three teens to safety, all the while dodging the barrage of missiles fired at them by Starscream from up above. the yellow bug then arrives at the edge of a cliff where our heroes are cornered by the F-22 which rises into the air to corner our heroes before transforming into robot mode revealing it to be Starscream who shouts "show yourself, Autobot!" The yellow VW beetle then transforms into robot mode as well revealing it to be none other than Bumblebee, the three teens confused by the sight of transforming robots asking what the heck is going on. Bumblebee then tells Spike, Carly, and Kicker to run. the three teens then hide in the nearby forest while Bumblebee leaps into the air to tackle Starscream causing the two robots to go tumbling down the cliffside, all the while the three teens watch from behind a tree, Kicker exclaiming to Spike "YOUR CAR WAS A ROBOT THIS WHOLE TIME?" followed by spike telling Kicker "I DIDN'T KNOW!" followed by Carly telling Spike that this explains all the weird stuff about his car such as the engine looking like a piece of alien technology and why it can drive itself. We then cut to the fight between Bumblebee and Starscream in the gorge below, the two having a brief fist fight before Starscream switches to using his wrist-mounted missile launchers, Bumblebee dodging the projectiles before using his blaster to fire at Starscream who uses his jet boosters to fly out the way. Starscream then tackles Bumblebee and grabs him by the neck and lifts him up into the air, demanding the yellow Autobot scout to tell him the location of the Allspark. Bumblebee then tells Starscream that he won't talk, followed by Starscream telling Bumblebee "then so be it" before ripping out the young bot's voicebox before tossing the poor scout aside. Starscream then contacts Soundwave that this backwater planet is infested with Autobot scum before transforming back into jet mode and flying off. the injured Bumblebee then gets back up and realizes that he can't talk anymore before climbing back up the cliffside to search for the three humans, limping through the forest.
