Our heroes then arrive at Downtown mission city followed by Spike, Carly, and Kicker exit Bumblebee's vehicle mode allowing him to transform back into his robot mode. Bumblebee then projects a beacon of light from his chest into the air it can be seen from across the country. we then cut to various vehicles in different locations: a silver Porsche 911 turbo at an Auto show, a red-and-white Chevy Ambulance at a Fire station, a dark red GMC pickup parked at a dirt road somewhere in the mountains, and a red-and-blue semi truck at a truck stop (all of which are Autobots in disguise) noticing the same beacon of light before leaving their posts and converging at the same location. We then see the four vehicles arrive at Bumblebee's location before transforming into robot mode. Spike, Carly, and Kicker are amazed to be surrounded by FIVE giant robots now, followed by Kicker asking them if they're friend or foe. Optimus assures the three teens that he and his team are friends of Bumblebee's, followed by Kicker making the remark "i can tell". Optimus then introduces himself, saying that his name is Optimus Prime and that he and his team are Autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron, followed by Ratchet interjecting to tell the three kids that they can call them Autobots for short. Optimus then introduces the three teens to the rest of the Autobot crew: his first lieutenant Jazz, his weapons specialist Ironhide, and his chief medical officer Ratchet. Spike then asks the Autobots an important question: if they're alien lifeforms from another planet, then how come they're able to speak english? Optimus explains to the three teens that they learned to speak Earth's languages through the internet. Ratchet then performs a medical scan on Bumblebee and informs Optimus that the young scout's vocal processor is badly damaged, followed by Ratchet asking Bumblebee what happened. Bumblebee then uses his radio-speak to form the sentence "star...scream", Ironhide crossing his arms shuddering at the thought of that no-good Decepticon seeker being here on earth, saying that this is worse than he thought, followed by Jazz telling Ironhide that when there's one Decepticon there's bound to be more. Optimus then tells his crew that they must be here after the Allspark. Carly then asks Optimus why he and his Autobots are here, followed by Optimus telling the three teens that they're here to find the Allspark, so they can keep it out of the hands of Megatron. Spike then asks Optimus what the heck an "Allspark" or a "Megatron" is. We then cut to a flashback to the war on Cybertron with Optimus narrating explaining their history to the three human teens: Millions of years ago, Cybertron was a beautiful planet, peaceful and just. but that all changed when they were betrayed by Megatron, tyrannical leader of the Decepticons who declared war on those who defied him and his followers. centuries of war ravaged their home planet until it was nothing but a lifeless husk. Megatron sought the power of the cube in order to rebuild Cybertron, but with himself as the planet's new ruler. Optimus couldn't let this happen, so he ejected the cube into space to keep it out of Decepticon hands. Megatron followed it to earth, however he went missing and was never seen again. we then cut back to present day where Optimus finishes his story that he and his crew escaped their dying planet in pods where they fled to Earth, however the five of them were separated upon crash-landing on the planet's surface, scattered to the winds... until now thanks to Bumblebee. the three teens are amazed by Optimus's story, Spike telling Optimus that he feels sorry for his planet, followed by Optimus telling them that his planet may be gone, but now earth is their new home and he and his Autobots will ensure that earth and its inhabitants don't share the same fate as Cybertron, as freedom is the right of all sentient beings. Ratchet tells the three teens that the Decepticons will ravage this planet to get their hands on the Allspark, just as they did to Cybertron. Optimus then tells the three teens that we five Autobots are the last line of defense against Earth's impending destruction. Spike is terrified of the idea of an alien invasion but his thought is interrupted when he looks at his phone and sees that he got a voicemail from his mom and realizes that she's worried sick for him. Spike tells the Autobots that he's gotta go, as he's way past curfew and his mother is starting to worry, followed by Carly and Kicker telling the Autobots that they've got parents at home probably worrying about them too. Optimus then tells three of the Autobots to escort the young humans home: Bumblebee will take Spike, Jazz will take Carly, and Ironhide will take Kicker. We then cut to a carrier plane flying over the Atlantic ocean where we see Colonel Witwicky lecturing to Lennox, Epps, Donnelly, and Burke about everything they know so far about these aliens: they are dangerous, they are unpredictable, and they can't be killed by their common earth weapons. Burke then raises his hand, asking why we don't just nuke them. Donnelly comically smacks Burke upside the head, telling him that they can't just launch a nuke when they don't even know if it will work on these creatures or not. Epps then tells both of them that they need to be quiet when the Colonel's talking, followed by Captain Lennox agreeing with Epps. Colonel Witwicky then tells the commandos that they need to find out how to kill these things fast, as sightings of these things have been popping up all over the globe, including his hometown of Mission city. Colonel Witicky then flips out his phone to look at a photo of his wife an son, showing the picture to Lennox's team telling them that he's got a wife and kid at home and that in order to ensure their safety they must all be destroyed. Lennox agrees, as those metal monsters killed Fig and they must make sure that he didn't die for nothing. the plan lands at an American military base, the same one we saw Soundwave leave earlier. as Colonel Witwicky and the commandos exit the plane upon landing, they spot a vintage black Cadillac pull up to them and out step an eccentric man in a black suit and two bodyguards. The mysterious man then shakes hands with Colonel Witwicky and introduces himself as Agent Seymour Simmons and tells Colonel Witwicky that he heard that him and his men had an alien problem, explaining that he's part of a secret government organization called Sector 7, which has been monitoring alien activity on earth for several years, telling the Colonel "remember that flying saucer that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in the 50s? it was real". Colonel Witwicky asks Simmons if he knows a way to kill those things, however Simmons tells him that he does, and he'll provide them with the weapons necessary to take them down and a platoon of Sector 7 agents step out of an armored vehicle to present the soldiers with a rack full of high-tech weaponry reverse-engineered from Cybertronian tech. We then cut between two of Spike's friends bonding with their new Autobot companions: first we see Carly riding in Jazz while listening to some tunes on the radio. Jazz asks her what these strange noises humans like to listen to are, and Carly explains to Jazz the concept of Music and Dancing, which intrigues Jazz since such concepts didn't exist on Cybertron. Jazz starts to enjoy and starts to join Carly in singing along with the lyrics, the two starting to bond over their favorite tunes. after they pull up to Carly's house, Jazz transforms into robot mode and starts dancing to the beat, performing some sick breakdance moves while Carly applauds. however this gets the attention of Carly's parents who look out the window to ask their daughter what all that ruckus is going on, followed by Carly telling Jazz to hide before they spot him causing Jazz to revert back into his silver Porsche 911 turbo form just in time. after that, we cut to Kicker riding inside Ironhide who pulls up to his garage. Ironhide asks Kicker if his parental unit will notice him, and Kicker tells Ironhide that his father doesn't care saying that ever since mom died (which was when Kicker was very young) he's been nothing but a miserable alcoholic drowning in his own filth, Kicker revealing to ironhide that his dad used to beat him with a belt when he was a kid, which is why Kicker grew up to become such a bully. Ironhide then tells Kicker "if i were you, i would have vaporized that slob with my plasma cannons" followed by Kicker telling Ironhide that as much as he would love that he's still family. Kicker then steps out of Ironhide's dark red GMC Sierra pickup truck mode followed by Ironhide transforming into robot mode. Kicker then notices an old VCR plugged into the wall and asks Ironhide if he wants to see something cool, followed by Kicker putting in a VHS copy of Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry", Kicker explaining to Ironhide that his dad used to love these old Clint Eastwood movies. both Kicker and Ironhide bond over their shared love of Eastwood's brutal sense of Justice, Ironhide telling Kicker that this "Eastwood" guy is an exceptional filmographer, followed by Kicker saying "it's Filmmaker, Ironhide". however their fun is interrupted by the family dog showing up to bark at the big robot, Ironhide pointing his guns at the furry creature while quoting Eastwood, saying "Do you feel lucky, punk?" however kicker stops Ironhide and tells him to leave the poor creature alone as he's the family pet. Ironhide then says "very well, then" before transforming back into his vehicle mode to avoid drawing further attention. We then cut to Spike riding in Bumblebee's VW bug alt mode back to his mother's house, Sarah noticing the familiar VW beetle from out the window and rushes outside to greet her son. Spike and his mother hug, Sarah telling her son that she was worried sick asking where he's been. Spike then decides to come clean and tells his mother the truth: "so i took the bug out for a test drive, and i wanted to use the car to impress Carly, you know, the girl next door? so i decided to take her on a romantic drive, but we were attacked by killer robots from outer space and the car turned out to also be a robot from space but this one's nice and..." Spike's mother then stops him right there, not believing a word he said and tells him to stop with the sci-fi tall tales and tell the truth. Spike then tells his mom that he IS telling the truth, but she still doesn't believe him. Bumblebee then transforms into robot mode in front of his mom, who's in shock to see that he really was telling the truth and she faints. Bumblebee then looks at Spike and uses his radio-speak to ask Sam if she's okay, and Sam assures bee that she'll be alright, all the while a sector 7 agent watches the commotion from a black Escalade parked across the street. Spike then facepalms and tells Bumblebee now that he transformed in front of the entire neighborhood, he's gonna need a new disguise if he's gonna keep a low profile, and he thought of just the one. Bumblebee then transforms back into his yellow VW beetle mode and Spike hops in and drives off, all the while the Sector 7 agent contacts Simmons to inform him that he just found their alien. we then cut to Spike and Bumblebee arriving at Bobby Bolivia's car dealership where Spike finds the yellow 2007 Chevy Camaro with black racing stripes that he always wanted. Bumblebee then scans the Camaro and takes the form of the aptly-colored muscle car, Spike telling Bumblebee that likes the new look, so much better than that ugly old slug bug. Spike then hops in the driver's seat followed by Bumblebee driving off all the while they are being watched by Sector 7 Agents who give chase.
