Lettuce have a classic Beauty N the Beast scenario, except Nightmare gets kidnapped UwU

And I forgot what name was given to Shattered!Dream in the fandom(AGAIN), so we're just gonna call him Shattered(again), forgive me peeps TwT

Pain, grief, anger and confusion. That's all he felt. That's all what Shattered felt. He sat by the throne of his AU of DreamTale, except he was one who ruled everything there. He knew he would feel like this after eating the black apple, he just wanted to know how his brother feels as well, after entering a state of Hell. The place wasn't all bright nor too dark, it was just the normal castle where he and his brother used to be, except all the walls were torn, the windows were boarded from the outside. He trapped and isolated his own self... Now he regrets everything as he gripped his throne, growling at nothing.

"AAURGHHH! WHY DOESN'T THIS FEEL RIGHT!?" He yelled as he stood up, one of his tentacles smashing the walls, causing the room to shake as small bit of dust fell from the ceiling. He sighed. He was still confused as why he would feel so... pathetic... He was powerful and superior than before! But all the sudden he felt so much in distress... He made this happen to himself, so what's with all of this?

Suddenly, soft and light giggles echoed in the throne room, as small yellow orbs came down, swirling Shattered in his stance. He glared; his gaze set on the orbs that floated around him. Chatters and voices of different monsters filled the room, these orbs were like his 'keys' to enter different AUs. He sat back down on his throne as he observed the orbs floating around, until he found a particular AU... Well... more like a Timeline. His tentacle went over and grabbed the specific orb, bringing it to him. He smirked at the sight.

It was a different DreamTale Timeline, where Nightmare and Dream are finally back together ruling the kingdom in balance and peace once again, and in this particular AU, the war against the AUs with the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses came to an end, and Nightmare was able to recover from his goopy aggressive version back to his peaceful and passive self, with full control, that is.

"Yes... This is the one!" Shattered exclaimed as he smirked at the AU displayed in the orb. "He's the one..." Shattered muttered as he teleports himself to the Timeline.

"Nightmare brother!" Dream happily chirped as he calls out for his brother who was sitting under their sacred tree, reading a book. Nightmare groaned as he looked over to his brother Dream, who was waving at him by their window. "What is it now Dream?" Nightmare yelled back as Dream giggled. "Just come over and you will see!!!" Dream said as a loud thud was heard in the castle making Nightmare cock a brow and waltz right into the castle.

He walked along the halls as he sighed, he was having a peaceful day reading outside until Dream called him along with some kind of commotion. "What the hell was that about?" Nightmare groaned as he continued to walk.

For some reason, Nightmare felt like that he had been walking for hours, the halls seemed to be looping him around in a circle, even though was walking straight forward. "W-what the hell?!" Nightmare cursed as he quickened his pace as he soon was running in the halls. "NIGHTMARE!? NIGHTMARE?!" he heard one of the voices of his friends, Cross' voice echoed into the walls. "YO BOSS WHERE ARE YA!?" Killer too, but it seemed like their voices were muffled out. "BROTHER!?" Dream yelled until the voices faded away. "D-DREAM!? GUYS!?" Nightmare yelled as he was confuzzled at the situation, still running in the halls as he finally reached a door. "This better be just a prank you guys..." He growled under his teeth as he twisted the door knob to open the door.
