" High school friends, well basically since you transfered when we were 16 " he said.

I snicker.

" Please, don't tell me about it, and don't burn my pancakes " I said as he start making the batter.

" I'm glad your back " Tori hugs me, I hug back.

" Not that you care " I said.

" Yeah, your right " she pulls apart and walk away with a bitchy face to her desk.

Ian then hugs me.

" You have a wife " I said.

" I was scared when I heard the news, I thought you were gonna die " he said.

" You have a wife " I repeat.

He pulls apart and smile.

" Christian literally said if you didn't come tomorrow, he'd fired you " he said.

" Speaking of Christian, has my book been published? " I asked.

" Are you kidding me? " Tori asked.

" What happened? " I asked.

" It has sold around 600 copies for the past two weeks! " Anna shove a thick book in my face and I take it.

" Seriously? " I asked.

" You made over a thousand dollars " Ian said.

I see the cover is modeled by someone I don't know of and it's beautiful.

" Told you I could get you a cover for ya " Tori said.

" I'm glad " I said.

" That's it?, I'm glad? " Ian asked, I snicker.

" Thank you guys " I said.

" The team helped you a little in the editing " Sam approaches.

" Sam, your out of your desk " I said.

" Well, I register everyone in and out all the time I know what time you guys come and go, so I took this opportunity to greet you after what you went through " she said.

I smile and hug her.

" Thank you " I said and we pull apart.

" Boss is coming gotta go " she look at her watch and walk away.

" Sometimes she scares me " Anna said, I chuckled.

" It's Samantha " Tori sass.

" Whatever, Christian did told me I get a day off so bye bye " I said.

I turn around and walk out to the counter as I hold in my appetite.

" You need a trash can? " I look up and see Christian.

" No I'm fine, I didn't know what got into me there " I said.

" I'll see you in two days " he said.

" Yes sir " I said.

He walks pass me, I sighed in relief.

" Your pale " I look up at Samantha.

" I'm good " I said.

I walk away to the elevator and press the lower button. The door opens and I was about to enter when I see a person about to walk out, I back up before I crash into them.

I look up and I was surprised.

" It's nice of you to visit me " I said.

" I headed to your apartment and you weren't home " he said.

" I got evicted, I live with a friend now, how did you know where I work? " I asked.

He clears his throat and takes out a book that is familiar to me.

" The little wolf and her Alpha " he reads.

" Oh my god!, Where did you get that?! " I laugh, I try to take it from him as he laughs and avoid my hand.

" It's around the store and I saw your name on it so it caught my eye " he said.

" Your a piece of shit " I said, he smiles.

" I'm going to read it " he said.

" Ugh " I groan with a laugh.

He winks and put it away in his bag, u was taken aback by the wink.

" Why did you want to visit me? " I asked and we continue to walk down the parking lot.

" I was just checking to see if your okay after everything, as a friend " he said.

" It would've been better if you didn't say the last two words, how are things with you and Catherine? " I asked.

" I can't say this is a good news or bad news cause we're officially done with each other " he said.

" Sorry to hear " I said.

" Again, it's not your fault, we always fight a lot and never dealt with it " he said.

" Looks like she's the one with a problem " I said.

" Back in LA, we found medications in the cabinets labelled with your name " he said.

" It's nothing, my psychiatrist said I have BPD " I said.

He looks at me in confusion.

" Borderline Personality Disorder " I said.

" Kinda explain everything " he said, I snicker.

" I have to head home, I need sleep right now " I said as we stop in front of my car and I take out my keys.

" Can you drive with a brain injury? " He asked as we face each other.

" Yes, only if I don't have any more of my seizures then I still can drive " I said.

" Well that's good "

" Is there any chance your free tonight? " I asked.

" I think, yeah why? " He asked.

" I was thinking maybe you wanna go out on a dinner with me?, You know, just the two of us? " I asked.

" As a date? " He asked.

" I mean, you and Cat are off and I won't be causing any drama so. . . .is that a yes? " I asked as I hold the key to my car.

He snickers.

" Let me think " he puts his hand in his pockets.

I bite my bottom lip, and grip the strap of my sling bag tightly.

" Sure " he shrugs.

" Really? " I asked.

He leans down and I backed up with my cheeks red, my bag hits the door of my car.

" Dress normally, I don't like fancy restaurants " he said.

" O-okay " I said.

He then kiss my cheek, I froze in place and walk away with a smile on his face.

This is cute.
