Mikes pov
Her first steps. Her first words. Her first song. Her first dance. Her first recorded song . My daughter loves music.

Love love loves it just like her mama. I spoiled that girl so much maybe even more than I spoiled her mom. I could never say no to her. We grew very close to eachother and we had a special bond. She became so interested in her mom growing up. She loved hear her stories the most. She has her own room with posters of her mom in it and her record player in it still and constantly studies her music as I break it down for her.

Thing is my daughter isn't 3 months anymore. She's 15. It's 2006. She grew way more into her moms face and whenever I miss y/n I just look at baby y/n and see her.
"Ugh you never let me go anywhere your so unfair!" "I just wanna make sur-" "NO IM TIRED I WANT TO GO TO PARTIES TOO IM TIRED OF CANCELING I BET MOM WENT TO OARTIES AND IM SURE YOU DID TOO AND NOBODY STOPPED YOU! IM SURE MOM WOULD LET ME" y/n yells and runs to her room and slams the door. I sigh. I walk into the kitchen where Bobby was. "I got it man" Bobby says getting up and going upstairs.

Bobbys pov:

I go upstairs and knock on baby y/ns door. "Oh Bobby thank goodness your heat can you please tell dad-" "y/n can we talk" "whatever" she says letting me in as I sit on a chair as she sits on her bed. "There's something's mike doesn't tell you about your mom and this is one of the things. The reason why yo dad don't want you to go to parties is because your already doing so good in your music car- y/n Imma just be honest with you. Your mom was never ever one to be taken advantage of. She had respect for herself and was really petty. She didn't let no boys get in her pants. For that reason of her being so ya know attractive and stubborn she was often drugged at parties. She often had guys putting drugs in her drinks. " I say as she looks surprised "Your the only one alive that your father has left of his wife. He's obviously gonna be protective of you and I don't blame him. Your his only daughter. Now maybe if you tell him you won't drink any drinks or eat anything which I know sounds strange he'll definitely let you go" I say and she smiles and nods.

"B you ever had feelings for my mom?" She asks smiling and you laugh smiling "you talk a little bit to good about her to have not" She says and I smile biting mt lip "oh my god I was head over heels in love. I didn't just like her I was straight up in love. I made so so so many moves on her but she didn't let me. She always had her attention on Michael bivins. Well y/n ya know since we close like that I'll tell you something that you might think is weird" I say "what?" She asks smiling "so one night  mike was drugged and did something with another girl but y/n thought he cheated so she came to Boston and  she spent a day with me, I honestly tonight after that day I gave her everything i had to please her and make her stay, but she still left me for your dad" I  say thinking about the pain that still put me in. "wow " baby says " watching your parents getting married was kinda hard for me but she was happy with mike. Really really happy. I would get so jealous. She would comfort me and everything and i would always try to kiss her and constantly ask her why she was with a bell Biv Devoe and new edition member when she could get with someone like me and she would get so pissed. I tried everything in the book to get her and steal her from your dad but nothing. She told me that she might be my type but she's not my soulmate and hell now I'm married to Whitney Houston!" I say "hmm tell me more. I love hearing about my mom about how nobody could get her" she says interested I laugh

Mikes pov :

I heard baby y/ns laughter "for real I was like yo Biv $700 for you to break up with your girl. Your dad stood his ground. Any amount of money. Nothing." I heard Bobby say and I smile to myself remembering when he did do that "your mom was real special. She loves you y/n your just like her. Your parents loved eachother so so so much." "We did. Y/n you have no idea how much of an iconic couple we were. Hold on" I say grabbing a book from my room then going to baby's "this is our wedding photos we were that couple." I say as she looks at them. "Look its me and y/n wouldn't we have been so much cuter" Bobby says and I slap him in the back of the head "honestly naw I don't see you guys lasting" she says looking at the photo "baby you were supposed to be on my side" Bobby says whining as she giggles y/ns giggle. "Dad I promise I won't drink anything or eat anything or let anything happen to me. I know my worth. Please let me go." "Okay baby.
