Just to be clear,Tim doesn't know that Carl has been abusing curly,)/he only thinks it was that one bruise from when Carl apparently got drunk

"No sex,"

"No sleeping over,"

"No getting drunk," that one was aimed at Carl

"No kissing In front of me,"

The list just went on and on.

"So,we clear?" He asked,after what felt like ages.

I just scowled and he rolled his eyes

"Oh relax, yall are gonna go off each other soon," he sounded so sure of himself

I scoffed "is that really what you think?"

He smiled mockingly at me "yes,"

"That ain't gonna happen," Carl wrapped his arms around my waist " we love each other,"he finished

Tims smile tightened "Get your fucking hands off my brother Jones,"

I frowned at the tension in the room "fine we'll do it," I just wanted this to be over

"Oh what?" Carl exclaimed

Tim grinned "you heard him,"

Carl just scowled,then looked at me and I knew what he wanted me to ask.

I sighed and turned my eyes to my brother "can you let Carl back in the gang now?"

Tim pretended to think about it "no," he smiled

I groaned "oh come on,we've already got everything straightened out and he's a really good asset!"

Tim frowned and I pleaded with my eyes for him to listen to me.

In the end he sighed "fine,but your on trial," he warned Carl "any wrong move and your out!"

Carl nodded vigorously and I relaxed slightly.

Carl the got up and pulled me with him

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Tim scowled

I rolled my eyes "we're just gonna walk around,what the big deal?"

He pursed his lips "Fine but no breaking the rules and be back before nine!"

I nodded,already halfway through the door

Once we got outside I stumbled after Carl as he stormed off.

"What's wrong?" I asked,nervous that he was mad at me

He turned around frowning at me "have you gone off me?"

I spluttered "what?no!"

"Well it looks like it," his frown deepened "you didn't even hesitate to agree to your brothers stupid ass rules!" He shoved me hard

I shook my head "no! I just wanted to get him off my back,that's all I promise!"

He opened his mouth to argue back but we were interrupted

"Hey!" The familiar voice of my best friend ponyboy Curtis instantly put a smile on my face

"Hey!" I exclaimed

"What are yall doing?" He asked me

I hesitated "just walking around,"

"Cool," He shoved his hands into his pockets "Listen,my brothers are out so my house is empty,you wanna hang?"

Just as I was about to say yes Carl's hand squeezed my arm and I winced

"Nah,we gotta do something," Carl frowned deeply at ponyboy and ponyboy stared right back.

He's the only person I had ever told about how Carl treated me and he didn't like it one bit

"Fine," he ground out then he turned to me and a smile replaced his frown "see ya around curly?" He asked hopefully

I smiled "yeah,"

Once he was out of sight,Carl shoved me up against the closest wall and kneed me in my abdomen.

"It's him isn't it?!" He demanded angrily "your falling for him!"

I clenched my eyes shut in pain and whimpered "No!"

He gripped my chin tightly and forced me to look up at him "Tell me you'll only love me!" He demanded

"I'll only love you!" I grunted out and he was right,I was being selfish only thinking of myself

Satisfied,he let go

"I'm sorry," I told him again,inwardly pleading for his forgiveness.

He smiled at me "how about you make it up to me?" he said suggestively

My mind went back to one of Tims rules but I shrugged it away,whatever makes Carl happy

So despite my discomfort,I forced myself to smile

"what do ya have in mind?"
