Its two in the morning and I should be asleep, but im going to write this instead because screw my mental health.

Heads up, this is about 5,000 words, your in for a long one.

:)

"Ready for launch captain, your orders?"

You leaned back into the comfy center chair. It was yours, you were the second in command, the captian, your sister, didn't take no more than a few seconds to reply.

"Set a course for earth."

The backwater planet was still very young, and it would be the perfect hideaway. Not many others of your kind wanted to deal with humans, apperently they were too annoying. Which was perfect considering your circumstance.

The himans being annoying most likely wouldn't bother you, since some aliens you had met had also been. Just as long as the well deserved rest for you and your crewmates was provided, then you would be happy.

=====

Most of your crewmates could be considered family. Especially since you all were raised in the same nursery.

Your home planet didn't specialize in nuclear families. The compatible partners would just have a sample of their blood taken, than the person was cloned, but not a exact replica. The clome was an infant, and had its own personality traits. Nurserys were homes and schooling all in one for the small children, and young weren't ment to leave until the age of twelve, by then they were large enough to not be trampled by any ignorant citizen. Since the average child was only a foot tall.

Gender had no real concept, it was by the person to decide when the reached eighteen what pronoun they prefered. Which could be a small problem for you, since many stories of earth told they were very discriminatory to those who had not yet chosen.

You looked at your sibling, you had accidentally been cloned with the same samples as her, which didn't mean anything much, it just had a high chance of both of you having the exact same personality, but that thankfully didn't happen. She was nineteen, and decided that female had been the best route.

"Do you think this is a good idea?"

She looked over and tilted her head, she brought up a tablet and typed a few things into it.

"Well, this tester reported that the air is breathable, and the food non-toxic. The only real thing different from our planet is the abundance of trees, and the mostly clear water, which they reported isn't harmful to us, and is pleasant to bathe in."

Laro gave you a reassuring smile, and you returned it, still a bit nervous.

The ships computer, minit as you had nicknamed it, alerted of earth quickly coming into radar.

"Alright everyone, strap in because we are soon to make arival."

Someone said, but you were to focused on the planet to recognise who.

Earth was beautiful. The swirling clouds covered more of the blue than you had expected, and the landmasses were easily distinguished among it.

You hovered your chair right in front of the glass sheild.

"How have I not heard of how amazing this looks!" You asked Laro, she just shrugged.
