She doesn't want
a rich man or a
handsome man,
or even a poet.
She wants
a man who
understands
her eyes if
she gets sad
and points to
his chest
and says
"Here is
your home."

"I can't believe you!"
Tony looked up from his crouched position in front of a pipe. He hadn't really expected to see her with Agent Coulson upstairs controlling the house.
Bella carded a hand through her hair, glaring at Tony sharply before finally looking around the room. The garage looked a mess; pipes were everywhere, leveled out around the room by other random objects, and she even caught sight of a metal frizbee stationed across the room. "First the party, totally not timed right by the way, then you fought you best friend?!? What the hell is going on here now?" She cried walking up to him grimly.
"How did you find out about that?" Tony frowned reaching out for her as she neared. She flicked her hair off her shoulders, letting him hold onto her shoulders. Her brown eyes flicked up to his before she responded, sending him a sharp look.
"Nat, told me, nitwit."
Tony leaned back in confusion. His gaze focused on the kinks in her hair from what he could guess was a ponytail holder before flickering across her face. "And the guy upstairs let you in?" He chuckled attempting to draw her into a hug only for her to smack his chest. "Ow! Hey! What was that for?"
"For fighting your best friend and everything after!" She huffed. Bella scrunched up her face, her nose crinkling up as her eyes squeezed shut, and pinched the bridge of her nose. She took a deep breath and looked up at him. "As much as I love you, I hate you twice as much sometimes."
"I'm sorry, as much as it pains me to say it," Tony murmured softly. He cupped her cheek in his palm to tilt her head back up. She just brushed him off and stepped away.
"Whats with the remodel?" She asked quietly. Bella knew she'd slipped and said the three little words that could very easily break their relationship. She simply ignored how Tony hadn't said anything about it.
Tony gave a pouty look as she turned in a circle to take in the wreck that was once his garage. "Discovering a new element that could save my life," he said, silently reaching out for her once more. Tony placed a hand on the wheel in front of him, crouching slightly to see the line of blue light that would soon light up the room, and grabbed Bella's hand to pull her closet. "Watch."
A bright stream of celestial blue burst into the dark basement. It bounced off all the junk set up around the room until finally concentrating on a triangle hung up in the middle of it all. The room glowed blue for a long moment before suddenly all the light quit and left the couple in darkness for but a second. The triangle burned to life into the darkness, giving off a faint blue with the white light.
Tony grinned brightly, chuckling as Bella shoved his shoulder toward the center if the room. "That was easy," he muttered. Tony grabbed a set of pliers from the table and yanked the new core out of its holdings.
