" Actually while I'm holding one, why don't we go upstairs? " He asked.

" Uh-huh no, Penelope is here, I am not going to risk it " I said as I place my glass down, he wraps his arms around my waist and he rest his chin on my shoulder.

" Well, it's really not your choice to make "

" I thought you said no drinking for me? " I asked as walk down the sidewalk and I see the bar ahead of us.

We intertwine our hands as we walk.

" This is your cheat day, you only have a few drinks but no strong alcohols" he said.

" Are you sure? " I asked.

" Yes I'm sure, don't worry, I had a few of our friends to join " he said.

" Who? " I asked.

" Well, Ash, Katelyn, Nadia and Garroth " he said.

" What about Aaron and Catherine? " I asked.

" They're trying to figure things out and we'll see if they'll make it " he said.

" How's Coraline? " I asked.

" She's coming with her husband " he said.

I smile and he looks at me.

" What? " He asked, I look away and shake my head.

" It's been weeks and all we have been doing is just clearing out bucket list " I said.

" Hey, at least we spend our times together " he said and we arrive at the bar.

I push the door open and the chime in the door rings, I look over at the bar to see Katelyn and Nadia already sitting down side by side on the stool.

" There she is " Nadia said as she holds her glass.

" No " I said.

" Okay " she turns back around and takes a sip of her drink.

" Just so you know, no strong alcohols, mister boyfriend is here " I gesture my head to Zenix as I look at Ethan.

He snickers.

" How about some Arnold Palmer? " He asked.

" It'll do " Zenix said and I sit down next to Kate while Zenix sit down next to me.

" So how's Penelope? " Katelyn asked.

" I'm glad to see her, she's happy as she can be " I said and take a sip of my drink.

" So where are the others? " I asked.

" I don't know, Ash is always late at everything " Nadia said.

" I'm right here "  we all turn to Ethan who is cleaning a glass cup with a dry towel.

" Behind me " he said and we all tilt our heads to the right and see Ash sitting down on a stool next to a wall while holding his phone that is charging.

" I take everything back " Nadia said.

" Your just short babe " Ethan said as he place the cup down and grab the Bourbon for Zenix.

" Says the top one " Ash said, Ethan spills the Bourbon.

He roll his eyes away and grab the rag the wipe the table.

" That conversation is only for us and the details stays in our heads " Ethan puts away the bottle.

Ash smirks and scroll through his phone to whatever he's doing.

" How long have you been sitting there? " Zenix asked.

" Hours ago " Ash said.

" Hey guys " I turn to my right to see a guy with auburn hair and green emerald eyes.

" Peter?, Aren't you supposed to be with Coraline? " Katelyn asked.

" Her mother wanted to take care of her so she let me go " he said.

He looks at me in confusion.

" Y/n " I said.

" Peter " he said, I smile.

" I invited another friend of mine if you guys don't mind " he said.

" It's fine " Katelyn said.

" I gotta use the restroom " Ash stood up and place his phone down on the table.

He walks out from the bar and head to the back.

I was about to take a sip of my drink when I felt my head throbbing, I wince.

" You alright? " Zenix asked, I nodded.

" I got a headache " I said.

" Well that is not a good sign " Nadia said.

" It's fine, it'll pass " I said.

" Need aspirin? " Ethan asked.

" No, she said it'll pass " Zenix said, I turn to him and he raise a brow.

I smile as a thank, he smiles back.

" Peter! " I turn around and see Catherine, Aaron and Garroth entering the room.

" Glad you guys could make it " Nadia said.

Garroth sit down next to Zenix with Catherine and Aaron sit down next to Peter.

" What do you guys want? " Ethan asked.

" Pink vodka lemonade cocktail " Catherine said.

" Scotch " Garroth said.

" Same as his " Aaron gesture his head to Garroth.

" Whiskey " Peter said.

Ethan swiftly get the drinks done and shortly after Ash came back.

" Hey guys " he said and went back to his seat.

" Hey, I've been wondering, where has Talia been?, I haven't seen her in a while " I said.

" She's moving into a new place right now, she couldn't come " Katelyn said.

" Anyways, anyone wanna make a toast? " Catherine asked as Ethan was done making her drink.

" I volunteer as tribute " Garroth raise his glass.

We all burst out laughing.

Zenix's pov.   

" How is she holding up? " Catherine asked as I watch Y/n laughing with Katelyn.

" Her sleeping hours are extending " I said.

" I read that online, I don't think she has that much time left, I already did the research you told me to do, you should try not to stress her out, it'll make it worse " she said.

" Bringing her out tonight might be the biggest mistake but I want her to have fun before she goes " I said.

" I also read, loosing memories is also one of the brain damage effects "

I had to do that last reference with Garroth.
