Jesse Mcree x Reader

When you awoke you could hear the faint noise on an engine running. You shifted and grabbed onto some fabric next to you.
"Seems that she took a liking to you huh?"
You finally opened your eyes and saw what you where holding onto. It was jesses shirt as your head laid on his shoulder. He was leaned back with his hat over his eyes like he was trying to rest but Reyes had kept talking to him and making comments about you and Jesse.
"Um sorry Jesse" you said getting up off of him.
"It's not like I minded darlin" you saw him smirk although his eyes where still covered by his hat.
You felt your face turn red at his comment before realizing you where missing something.
"Um what happened?" You just remember passing out after grabbing the orb.
Finally Jesse shifted in his seat and tipped his hat up so it wasn't in his face anymore.
"I ain't gettin no sleep with you two around" he scolded and you giggled at his comment.
"(Y/n), when you grabbed that orb it sent off waves of electricity that made you pass out, we realized that was the defense mechanism and found another way to capture it, however we did not know that it did that before"
"Great it had to be me that passed out, I missed the whole mission!" You crossed your arms and pouted.
"There wasn't much that went on, there was a little disturbance where Hanzo and I stood guard but we took care of it" Gabriel said.
"But you still got to do something, I just fell asleep" you mumbled under your breathe.

*ship landing*

You got off and stretched out your muscles.
"I think imma take a nice warm shower for my muscles tonight" you stated to really no one
"Oh yeah all that sleeping must have really had a toll on your body" Gabriel chuckled as he walked towards his office.
"Oh shut up" you yelled back smiling.
"(Y/n), that's the wrong way"
You turned back to Jesse to see that he was indeed correct, you where walking in the opposite direction of your room.
"Geez" you grumbled
You walked back in his direction and he accompanied you once you made it to him. You both walking along the halls of the overwatch base, your rooms where right next to each other so it made no sense to not walk together. As you where walking you made it to a special hallway this was the hallway with two walls of glass. With the sun setting casting a  beautiful orange glow over the hallway, suddenly Jesse stopped in his tracks and stood there.
You turned to see the matter but you couldn't see his eyes, again covered by his hat.
"(Y/n), I was serious earlier when I asked if you wanted to go out with me. Was that your honest answer?" His voice was low and rough
You paused for a moment, he was serious? Someone like him had asked someone like you out? You where honestly shocked but you already knew your answer. You walked closer and stole his hat and put it on your head.
"Sure Jesse it sounds fun" you smiled at him giving him the smallest kiss on the cheek before continuing to walk down the hallway.

*jesse pov*

She proceeded down the hallway after she took my hat. Damn, she looked so good in my hat. I however couldn't believe that she actually said yes to going on a date. This filled me with joy, she even kissed my cheek.
I brought my hand up to my face to the place where she kissed me and smiled.
"You coming?" She called out not caring enough to look back.
Shaken out of my thoughts I jogged down to catch up with her.
"So how does Tommorow night sound?" I asked
"Sure, I mean we have the day off right?"
"Yes ma'am"
"So why don't we just spend the day together?
"I suppose" I spoke clearly even thought inside I was dying.
There was always something about her that made me want to go crazy, maybe that's why I fell for her so hard.
We had finally made it back to our rooms after that long walk. I took my keys and opened my door which happened to be to the left of hers.
"Well I guess I'll see ya tomorrow then"I said goodbye to her and closed the door.
I sighed as i undid my belt and tossed it on the chair alone with my shirt. I was about to finish's undoing my pants when I heard a small knock on the door.
"Yes?" I looked down again to see (y/n).
"Um I forgot to give you your hat back... so here" she shoved the hat at my chest a darted back in her room.
She was always weird about certain things though so I didn't really pay much mind. I threw my hat on the chair with the rest of my stuff and then undoing my pants I stepped in the shower.

*(y/n) POV*

You and Jesse had just split ways when you looked at your self in the mirror, you looked like an absolute mess. You realized you still had jesses hat on a supposed you better return it. Walking out your door and turning the then left you gently knocked on his door.
"Yes?" He looked down at you.
His eyes where half lidded but your eyes kept traveling down to his broad bare chest and lower to where his v line was.
"Um I forgot to give you your hat back...so here" Your face became hot and you shoved his hat at him and ran back into your apartment.
You ran and jumped on your bed, what was your problem. You couldn't be in the same room with him for five minutes before having lewd thoughts of him and you. You face got redder.
After your shower you crawled into bed, you where unable to get your mind off of him. The way he talked, the way he smelled, just everything.
You couldn't wait for your date, it was going to be so much fun.
