Jesse Mcree x Reader

"(Y/n) we need to talk about something serious"
"Um sure... what is it" you asked
You walked over to his bed and sat down on top of his sheets. Jesse followed you and took a seat next to you.
"It's about what you said the other day"
You tilted your head to the side unsure about what he was talking about.
"When you said you were....raped" he almost whispered the last part.
You looked down with your eyes focusing on the ground.
"If you don't want to talk about it that's fine, I just want to make sure your okay" he took you hand gently.
You looked up at him, tears brimming your eyes as you where trying to mentally prepare yourself.
"Um... it was a long time ago"
"(Y/n) really you don't have too"
"No, you should know"
You took a deep breathe before continuing on.
"After I had run away in search for you I had really no place to go and I didn't think anything through. I was about twelve I think..... and uh I was walking through a town... it was getting pretty dark and these two men approached me...they grabbed me and dragged me to the ally....."
Yours tears raced down you face as you remember that horrible night. The pain and yelling.
Jesse pulled you into a tight hug.
"Shh shh darlin it's okay" he gently pet the back of your head.
Inside he was tearing himself apart, if only he hadn't run away then none of this would have happened. You as him could have lived a peaceful on the countryside.
You sobbed into his chest before he leaned back onto the bed so that he was leaning on pillows. You went and cuddled next to him.
"I'm glad you told me" he kissed the top of your head as you tried to catch your breathe.
"Listen (y/n), I love you and I promise you are going to live a good life" he whispered into your ear.
You smiled at this gesture, he truly did care. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" Jesse crawled out of bed after making sure you where comfortable.
He stood up and answered the door only to find commander Morrison standing in the hall. He looked past Jesse to you laying in jesses bed before looking back at Jesse.
"I think we need to have a talk Mcree" he was so formal in the way he spoke.
Even off duty Commander Morrison was always so professional and formal in everything that he did.
"Right know sir?"
"Yes, immediately" he said while looking down the hall at nothing.
"Give me a second to grab my hat" with that Jesse shut the door and came walking over to you.
"Are you going to be okay?" He asked obviously worried.
"Yeah I'll be fine" you kissed him softly before he grabbed his hat and made his way to the door.
"I love ya darlin"
"I love you too"
With that he shut the door behind him and left you in the silence of his room.

*jesse pov*

Morrison lead me down hallway upon hallway until eventually we made it to him office.
"Forgive me but why did you call me here sir?" I questioned
"This regards (y/n)"
I tended at her name being said. What would he want with her?
"What about her sir?"
Morrison made his way to his desk and sat down before making a gesturing hand for me to do so as well. 
"I haven't had the time to address this until today so. I sent you on a mission to disrupt some gang violence and yet I get a report that says there where three men laying dead on that street, can you explain that to me please?"
I could tell his voice was slightly irritated by the way he was speaking.
"Sir I-"
What was I supposed to say? Oh yeah (y/n) had a metal breakdown because memories of her drunk parents bearing her came about? (Y/n) could get fired for not keeping her composure on a mission.
I cleared my throat before continuing.
"Sir, those men fought back and pulled guns on us and threatened to fire. If I hadn't shot those men then both (y/n) and I would both be dead"
He narrowed his eyes.
"You lying, not on all of it but the first part"
He read you like an open book. Shit.
"Do you think I'm stupid Mcree?"
"No sir"
"Then tell me the god damned truth!" He slammed his fist on the table.
"Sir, yes those men had guns pointed at us and (y/n) had been hurt so I was defending us"
"Know why didn't you just tell me that from the beginning" he set his hand on his head.
Shaking his head he looked up at me.
"You said she was injured, then why didn't she visit medical right away when you two got back?"
I could tell he was questioning every step you took through this mission.
"She thought it wasn't necessary sir" I answered with not hesitation.
"Well whatever then I guess it was a mission success so I guess your off the hook"
He grabbed a folder off his desk before opening it and reading its contents.
"Oh also tell (l/n) that she will be assigned to the Gibraltar headquarters soon. You are dismissed"
My heart sank.
"What?"
"You heard me" he said still looking at his folder.
"Yes sir" I Asia's through gritted teeth as I tried my hardest not to slam the door on my way out.
"(Y/n), what are we gonna do?"
