An Introvert Meeting (Dean)

"You guys sound so bad." I crossed my arms while looking out the window.

"We know," Temica says.

"Not everyone can sound like a beautiful singer, like you." Tina turns around to say and I looked at her with a smile.

"Thank you for the compliment," I looked at the streets of walking people and fast cars.

"No, problem. You are going to be hearing a lot of compliments tonight,"

I didn't know what Tina meant by that but I was going to have to suck it up and have fun at this club.

After twenty minutes of driving on the road, we finally made it to the club. We got out of the car and I stared at the sign on the building.

𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼.

"Come on!" I heard Tina shout and saw them walking ahead to the line so I hurriedly ran up to them. Tina and Temica were some tall women so they had long legs, not me. I am 5'2 and have a tendency to walk slow. So anywhere we went, they would always be ahead of me.

"This is a long line of people," I said to Temica but she smirked at me.

"We are VIP," She says before we walked up to the two big armed bouncers and showed them our ID's.

"You may go in," The bouncer spoke before stepping aside to let us in.

The music intensified the more we walked inside the building. As soon as I knew it we were at the scene of dancing people on the dance floor. Liquor was in the air causing me to cover my nose a bit but Temica put my hand away. Neon lights surrounded the place making it a little hard to see but at least you knew where you were going or walking to.

"Let's go to the bar," Tina shouts over the music and I nod before she led the way. We walked to the bar and sat down on the stools.

I kept getting a couple of stares from people but mostly from the women. The men were looking at me like I was a piece of meat and I didn't like it at all.

"Don't worry, they are just hating on you."

"What about the men here?" I looked at Temica.

"I don't think they have seen a beautiful woman in there entire lives," Tina says causing me to smile.

"You see that's what I like to see. A smile on that pretty face that I helped make look fabulous tonight," Tina flips her hair in confidence.

"But the hair is whats important. Yes, your makeup can be fleek but if your hair ain't done the right way then it's a goner." Temica exhaled while shaking her head and I laughed at her.

"Yeah, let's drink to that," Tina says before looking over the bar, trying to get the bartender's attention. Once she achieved that, he came walking over and smirked at her.

"What will you ladies be having for tonight?" He asked us.

"Three shots of vodka with a sprite in it." Tina smiles and he does the same while she slid him a tip.

"Coming right up," The bartender says before he starts to make the drinks for us.

"Tina, he likes you." Temica teases her.

"Did you slid him your number as well when you gave him a tip?" I smiled at Tina and she pushed my side playfully.

"Both of y'all need to chill," Tina says before the bartender gave us our drinks. We held our shots up together.
