I've been writing since high school. I've written essays, poems, articles, and stories. I have always loved books and I give them a high regard even when I don't read as much anymore.
For me, books shouldn't have typographical errors. Kaya kahit ako naiinis sa mga published books galing 抖阴社区 na ang daming errors. Hindi na sya fault ng writer, to be honest. Lahat ng writer, nagkaka-typo error. Daming lapses sa tenses at grammar, ganyan. Pero dapat kapag dumaan na sa isa hanggang tatlong editing, napupulido na. You, as consumers, should demand for better books.
So what I'm saying is, it's okay if you can't get everything right. BUT it is also important that you try. Treat every story you upload as a potential book. So do your own research, find the faults in your stories and fix them, learn how to spell properly and use proper punctuations.
Wala kayong excuse kasi madali lang mag-research. Kung offline ka naman nagsusulat, you can always consult the dictionary. Even if your readers don't care about the technicalities, it is important that you do. You should. You must.
Kapag nagsulat ka ng story at naisalibro 'yan, dapat may matututunan sila sa story mo. Hindi pwedeng wala.
Love writing. Live it. Breathe it.
I feel like I have to say this over and over again until it sinks in. Do not use it for clout. Do not use it for fame. If that is your only goal--to be "popular", then close this tab because I don't want to help you and you don't deserve to be read.
Ang pagsusulat ay pinaghihirapan at minamahal. Hindi yan phase lang. Nagtatagal yan. Minsan kasama mo hanggang pagtanda. Paghirapan mo at pagbutihan mo. Invest your time, effort, and knowledge into writing. And you will reap your rewards someday, NOT TODAY. NOT in an instant.
