"I'm afraid the show is no longer available milady" he smirked. His eyes were sharp pointed red as the death rider. Still wearing his full set of armor from his chest to his foot. I scoffed, "Not like i'm interested in admiring".

He chuckled at my words, which i found it not funny. "I've never see you cheering wildly for me in that balcony along with your fellow crew" he tucked his sword to the ground, allowing himself to lean his arm towards it's weight.

"Consider that it's not worth my time" i grinned and turned away, with my expression back on the flat line. I really thought he was humble, too bad he was just full of himself as i thought he would be.

I made my way out of the room and went down the stairs, i saw Queen Vexana along the way. Before i become even near her, i bowed "Afternoon my queen".

"Raise your head (Y/N)" her soothing voice echoed through out the large area, i smiled and raised my head up. I quickly offered a hand to support her feet on climbing down the stairs.

"So, have you done your studies?" she asked, i nodded to assure her. I replied "Yes your highness".

"Let's test it shall we, what's the possible way to extract a hostile approach according to chapter number 7?"

"Wait and do not inflict any force until certain measurements must be fulfilled, remain unbothered and keep the defense up within 10 men" i answered without a stutter, she then smiled and nodded.

"Very good" she exclaimed. Reaching the last steps, i continued to walk by her side towards to the throne. Circling through the large hallway, "Next question, the most common thing to do in an ambush?" she tested again.

I waited a second before i could comply, then i struck the answer inside my brain. "According to section A number 3 on chapter 17, it would be necessary to–"

But before i can finish my sentence, her highness already cut me off "(Y/N), that chapter is included for next week's assignment, correct?". I stopped walking as soon as she did.

Of course i was a little jumped by her words, i simply nodded. Queen Vexana ruffled my hair and sighed, "My child, i already told you not to force your self".

I can only reply "I was thinking maybe the best results are most likely the one which is acquired faster, your highness".

She smiled and continued to walk, there was some time that she went silent. But then she opened her mouth, "I'm truly honored to have you as the kingdom's most reliable strategist, but please worry about your self too dear".

I was a little embarrassed that the fact she was worried about my health, it was true that she raised me from when i was a little. She was like a mother to me, but she's still the queen. So the respect i must give should be the same as the people in Necrokeep do.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience your highness, i will look after my condition as told". The queen placed her sit on the throne, i excused my self and walked towards the hallway that leads to the castle's garden.

Might as well freshen up my lungs and eyes. I stepped outside and already the shining sun stroke my body. The air was chilly even though the sun is up.

"You know, you should have her highness adopt you" a voice spoke up as soon as i reached the pathway, i turned around and there i saw a knight leaning on his back to the wall. Arms both crossed and smirking. I ignored him and walked down the pathway, he approached me on the back, "You're very fit to be her highness' daughter" he continued.

I rolled my eyes as i continued walking through the pathway, "It would be a pleasure but i clearly don't deserve such honor" i decided to play this game of his. Stalking a random person.

He trailed away racing my figure, and stopped in front of me. He asked me "What's your name?". I didn't bother and took a turn, "None of your business" i replied. Slowly tempted to run but i kept my cool. He rushed to my front again and stopped, "Playing hard to get are we?".

I sighed and stared at him, not giving any single fuck whatsoever. He raised a brow, maybe mesmerized by the fact that i'm not interested. "Then, how about this. I introduce myself first, and then your turn" he insisted. But i let out a smirk and gestured a hand, "Too bad prince charming, i already know your name".

"Oh really? Quite a delightful name right?" he asked, he was being quite unresolved. I don't understand the mechanics he's using to be friendly, so i decided to mess with him.

"Yeah it's pretty" i said.

"Real–" then i cut him off by saying "Pretty ugly".

His mouth was wide open, i couldn't help but laughed out loud. Holding back the tears that somehow i had by the joke that i've made. "I'm joking i'm joking" i said as i opened my eyes, but when they were open all i could see is him smiling warmly towards me.

First of all it's kind of creepy, second of all it has made me confused. But then he broke the silence, "Milady, my name is Leomord. Please tell me your name".

I was surprised by the tone he was using, it was different from before. Minutes ago his voice were very, strict and firm. Common for a knight. But this time, it was rather soft but cold. Something felt a little weird inside my stomach, but i didn't let it mind.

I nodded without making any necessary action and answered "Nice to meet you, Leomord. You can call me (Y/N)". But out of my expectations, i smiled. The expression I've never did in my entire life.

I ain't gonna lie but i was smiling the entire time when i was writing this chapter. Leomord is daddy asdfghjkl im sorry don't mind me. Welp, i hope you enjoyed folks! Stay tuned for part 2!
