Sarah Cameron is bisexual and has a crush on Kiara's best friend, Y/N.
Y/N is a Kook, works at the The Wreck as a waitress, hangs out with Pogues, and she golfs at the country club sometimes. She's interesting that's for sure.
Sarah Cameron only ever speaks to Y/N  if they get partnered up in school and she's hoping that her new friendship with Kie will maybe score her a way to talk to Y/N.

In the story, John B never dated Sarah. Kiara and Sarah are also still friends.

Sarah Cameron's POV - Friday Night

I slide on a mini skirt, a crop top, and Nike AirForce Ones.

I leave in my car and drive to the beach.
I park and walk over.
I see Kiara and smile.
I wave at her and she waves at me.
We hug and I ask "Could we speak privately tonight at some point?"
She nods and turns to Pope. She says "Babe, I'll be back. We're gonna have a girl's chat."
He nods and kisses her on the cheek.
She slings an arm around my shoulder and we walk near the water.

I exclaim "This is gonna be weird. When I tell you what I tell you, don't freak out and don't tell my family."
Kie replies "Go ahead."
I reply "One day I had a realization that I'm bisexual."
Kie's jaw drops and she asks "Who was your first girl crush?"
I answer "Wait. You're not weirded out?"
She answers "No I'm not weirded out by the thought of you liking girls. Now tell me who this crush is?"
I rub my neck and shyly answer "Funny thing is it's Y/N."
Kie replies "Hmm fair. She is beautiful. Sooo... what do you want from me? I believe there was a reason to this conversation. I mean unless you only brought me over to tell me."
I reply "You see, I'm pretty confident when it comes to talk with people. Except if I'm around Y/N, I get all nervous. She makes my heart beat really fast and I forget about everything else around us. I have only spoken to her when we get assigned as partners for school. Other than that, I mean I see her with you at the Wreck and at the golf course playing with other people. I'm just hoping you could help me talk to her."
Kie smiles and replies "I can tell you really like her and I may be willing to help you out with talking to her. I'll text you with details this week when I find out her schedule."
I nod and smile.

Tuesday Afternoon

Kie invited me over to hang out and swim. Apparently Y/N and Pope will be there too.

Now what to wear?!?
It has to be perfect. I can't look like I tried too hard or didn't try at all.

I find a hair wrap, denim shorts, a crop top, and I bring a cute yellow bikini in case we swim.

As I leave, Rafe stops me. He asks "And where are you going?"
I answer "To see Y/N and Kiara Carrera!"
He replies "Hot Kooks. Huh have fun."
Whew.
I nod and leave the house.

I drive to Kiara's house and park next to what must be Y/N's car due to the amount of stickers that reflect her interests. I love it.

I walk up and knock.
Kiara's mom opens the door and exclaims "Oh hi Sarah Cameron. Kiara said you would be coming over. They are in the kitchen if you'd like to see them."
I nod and follow her to the kitchen.
I thank her before she walks away.

I walk into the kitchen and see Y/N.
She's sitting on one of the stools at the kitchen island swinging her legs while spinning the straw in her cup with her pointer finger. The outfit she has on is one of her staple outfits and something that brightens my mood.

I say "Hi Kiara, Pope, and Y/N."
They turn to me and say hi.
I smile and sit next to Y/N at the kitchen island. Kiara gets me a glass of lemonade per my request and I thank her.

Pope asks "So Sarah, saved any turtles recently?"
I smile and answer "Yes. I saved some from the rolling waves earlier. They were going to die in that spot, so I put them somewhere with lower waves."
Kiara replies "I'm proud of you. I like hearing that."
Y/N asks "Are you an animal lover like Kie?"
I answer "Yes very much. Turtles are adorable and I love them so much. What about you? Do you like animals?"
Y/N answers "Yes. I prefer bears or dogs though. I just love them."
I smile and nod.
Pope smiles and says "I think we should swim!"
We all agree and we all go change.

We meet outside and we jump in the water.
I look over at Y/N and see her bathing suit. It fits her so well and she looks so hot. Will I survive being around her like this? Maybe.
Y/N asks "Is there something on me?"
Oop she caught me staring at her.
I laugh and answer "No. I just really love your bathing suit."
She replies "Thanks. I like yours too. It's bright like your personality."
:)

We all swim together until we see rain and thunder starts getting loud.

Kiara's dad cooks us lunch and we all eat together.

After that, Kiara lets us stay until the storm calms down.

I change back into my other outfit and I dry off.

We all lay on the couch and Kiara turns on a movie.
Y/N sits next to me with a blanket.
She leans over and asks "Want to share?"
I nod and we somewhat cuddle.

After the movie, the storm has calmed down.
Y/N starts carrying stuff to her car.

Kiara walks up to me and exclaims "You're going to miss your shot with her. Go!"
I run out the door and to Y/N's car.
I see her and exclaim "Hey Y/N. Can I tell you something?"
She nods and smiles.
I exclaim "I like you Y/N. I would like to take you out on a date. Would you like to go on one with me?"
She answers "Yes I would love to. I had no idea you were bisexual. I really thought you and Topper were still dating."
I laugh and reply "We broke up. I just ... He wanted to go fast and I didn't want that."
She replies "We can take it slow, Sarah. Do you have my number so we can talk about when the date will be?"
I answer "No I don't."
She reaches into her car and hands me a personal business card with her info on it.
She exclaims "I know that's super cheesy and also so odd to give you, but I have a lot. My dad thought it would be good for me to have business cards for personal and of professional use. Little did he know I would use one to give to my crush."
I smirk and reply "I'm your crush? Wow I'm so happy."
She replies "Of course. You're beautiful inside and out."
