The Rainbow and the Flame(A Vampireverse story)

Fallacy's POV

I wake up on some shore. I get up, feeling sore and achey all over. I get up and find my clothes so big and ripped on me now. They felt so loose. Like they're about to fall off loose. I take off my cloak since that is a dead giveaway. No wonder it's so big, I am smaller and shorter now. I walk or stumble around, tripping on the bottom of my pants that are covering my feet now. I get spotted and a girl comes over to me. I look around, seeing humans everywhere. SHOOT! I am in a human land! Wait. I am a human now too.

"Woah! You're a mess! Are you okay?"The lady asks me

I shake my head.

"I think I am lost."I say

She takes my hand without another word.

"What's your name? I am Mary."She says

"Ummm....Fal."I say

She pulls me along. She takes me inside a house and tucks me into a bed. I dozed the moment I hit the pillow. When I woke up, she wouldn't let me leave the bed. I sit up and she gives me some medicine since she noticed how sick I looked. She gave me new clothes and brushed my hair, taking out all the litter or junk that got stuck in it from the river shoving me around after Mabel forced me in. I hate that girl.

A few days later, Mary thought I was well enough to get out of bed. I come out and she sits me at the table.

"Okay, Fal, time to talk. Girl to girl. What in the Lord's name happened to you?"She asks

I remembered Felicia in that moment. She would often give me talks like this when she felt something was wrong. Sibling to sibling, she would say. I felt my breath hitch as a wave of homesickness and concern wash over me. They must not have a clue what happened. For all they know, I am traveling with Encre since I cleared up enough time for the trip and left the castle saying I am going to see Encre.

(Little do any of them know that Jasper was behind Encre's house and heard everything unfold Encre and Mabel, knowing it is all lies from her. And he is now ready to kill Mabel with a knife.)

Mary snaps in my face.

"Earth to Fal! Please answer my question!"She says

"I...Sorry. I was put under a spell and shoved into a river. I woke up and I was here. Where am I exactly?"I reply

"Oh! You are in Humantopia!"She says

That's where Encre was going. Just my luck.

"What did the spell do to you?"She asks

"How do you feel about monsters?"I ask

"Good. Especially since the royal family finally took notice of my petition to give monsterkind a chance! Heck, they are having one come and negotiate with them! It's so exciting!"She says

"Well, I was a monster and turned into this human female form.....And now my crush is at risk......"I say

Not unless he wears the necklace I gave him.

"Ah, well you can stay here as long as you need. You just gotta blend in."She says

"How do I do that?"I ask

"I'll teach you."She says

For the next week, she showed me the do's and dont's of being a lady and blending into their society. It was quite different yet interesting. And it was amazing to be able to go out and join another society without being scared or concerned about being caught. I'm not a vampire at the moment either. But I liked the indoors better. I'd gaze out the window, thinking and wondering about how Encre is. Or any of my family and friends.
