Nick and a few of the guardians went out in search for Alex. They successfully tracked her down to the old castle of Herobrine. Nick knew they had to hurry or else something bad will happen to her. Suddenly, an arrow went pass Nick's head missing him by an inch as it struck the tree behind them. They were caught by surprised as a horde of Nether mobs and the undead ambushed them. They knew they were coming. "Ready your weapons, men! They knew we are coming!" Nick shouted out his warnings as the mobs rushed at them.

Nick beheaded a pigman and thrust his sword through a zombie. He glanced around, they were winning until suddenly a familiar guy pounced at a guardian and killed him. He slowly turned around and the guardians gasped, it was Cj! Cj's appearances changed bloody clothes and red eyes! He growled at them and attacked them again with an iron sword, he clumsily attacked them but still he's good. Nick beheaded another pigman and speed up to lend them a hand, but unexpectedly a female zombie pounced at him from nowhere and knocking him down with a stone sword. She tried to thrust the blade through his heart but Nick rolled away and hastily scrambled up on his feet.

He froze up and he felt his breath leave him. He can't bear to see her, he can't accept the very truth standing in front of him. "No...t-this can't be true." He weakly gasped.

Standing in front of him is the same girl-a friend he had lost eight years ago. Blond hair and fair skin, she is very familiar in her appearances. Nick's next words are shaking, "S-Shandy? I-is it r-really you?"

Because she's a mindless zombie, Shady only growled and hissed at him menacingly before she attack him again. Nick can't bear the whole truth, he bit his lower lip and unwillingly fought her. "Please, Shandy, snap out of it!" He pleaded but Shady kept advancing at him, "I-i dont want to hurt you." He was distracted with his emotions that he failed to block a hit from Shandy's blade. She slashed him across the body, but luckily the armor he's wearing protected him from the severe hit. He jerked around as he grabbed Shandy's wrist and pulled her aside and dashed away from her. He rejoined the other guardians taking their stand. They managed to get a clean target on the back of Cj, sending him to his grave forever.

A guardian glanced around, there were too many mobs to take at once. He turned to his comrades, "There are too many of them, we have to retreat!" They all nodded in agreement, each of them pulled out an ender pearl, one by one they threw their ender pearls away. A guardian loaded his bow and aimed it directly at Shandy, but before he could release the string, Nick laid a hand on his shoulder, "It's time to go!" He sternly said.

He lowered his bow and together both of them threw their ender pearls away and teleported away from the mass of horde. Nick stole a glimpse of her and his heart stung painfully. They teleported on top of the trees, the other guardians were all waiting for them on top of it.

"We need to inform the others about this!" One of the guardians grunted. "Come on, we need to go!"

"What?!" Nick burst out in great shocked, "We haven't found Alex, yet. We can't stop now!"

The guardian turned to him, "I'm sorry great fighter but the Undead and the Nether control this land. The reason we made it this far is because none of them tried to attack us and leading us further to ambush us to our deaths! We already lost three lives, how many more lives do we need to sacrifice for the sake of one life?!" The guardian sternly said.

Nick can't think of anything to say for what he spoke of is true. That was a narrow escape from death.

The guardian huffed and shrugged, "Let's go!" He told them. They quietly made their way on top of the trees, careful not to get spotted from there or from below them. They've realized that the biome where they were are full of enemies. Nick looked back over his shoulder towards the far horizon, his heart stung whenever he thought of her. He never thought he would see her again but he knew they will never be together again in this situation. This worsen the pain he felt.
