It's 9:52 AM and he hasn't shown up yet, I wasn't going to freak out because maybe he's still asleep or something and I don't want to be a clingy girlfriend so I waited another hour.
Nothing so I decided to call him "Hi Mrs Wheeler is Mike around" I asked "Hi Y/N I'll get him for you" she replys.
"Mike phone!" She yells and I hear another voice
"hello?" It's Mike "Hey Mike I was just wondering where you are" I said
"Oh um I can't see you today" he said "Oh thats okay but why?" I ask "well it's my nana she's sick really sick" he says
"I thought hopper said it was a false alarm" I say "yeah that's what we thought it was but we think she might die" he says and his mum comes on the phone "what?"
"Mom get off the phone how many times" Mike yelled
"did nana call?" She yells "no mom just get off the phone" Mike yells.
"Sorry about that" he says "Are you lying? If you don't want to see me that's fine, we can't be with each other all the time you could've just said so" I laugh
"what no friends don't lie" he says "what mom?" He yells "Oh sorry I gotta go I miss you already bye" he says and hung up, I walk into my room and slam the door.
I grab Max's skateboard as it rolls towards me "Hi" I say "Hi" she replys confusion on her face "can we talk?" I ask, she nods and we walk inside her house.
"He said he missed me then he hung up" I explained "Mike's a piece of shit" she says and I laugh "he doesn't have jack shit to do today and his nana is not sick" she says "I don't really want to believe it, friends don't lie" I say "yeah well boyfriends lie" she says and grabs my hand "where are we going?" I ask "to have some fun, there's more to life than stupid boys" she says laughing.
Time skip
We get off the bus, we just arrived to the mall. I haven't been to the mall so I'm a bit nervous "it's okay what could go wrong you have super powers" she explains so I push my fear aside and we run inside the mall.
We first go to a store called the gap and I try on some clothes "they look nice" Max says and I smile at her

Once we bought some stuff we went to a shoe store. I tried on some high heels and I lost my balance and fell over, we both burst out laughing. Stacy and some of her friends stare at us and look disgusted but we just continue laughing.
Later we went to a photo booth thing and wore funny clothes and made weird poses. After that we went to the food court and say Stacy and her friends talking to some boys. I focused on the drink Stacy is holding and exploded it with my mind. Coke went all over her and her friends, we laughed and ran away.
We walked into Scoops Ahoy and saw Steve "Hey Steve" I say "Hi Y/N and hey Max" he says hugging me over the counter. Steve is one of my best friends. After we ordered our ice cream he gave them to us and we paid "wait are you even allowed to be here Y/N?" Steve asked, I smirked and ran off with Max.
Time skip
"Wanna trade?" Max asks as we walk to the exit "sure" I smile and swap over our ice creams "Oh you've got to be shitting me" I said hearing a familiar voice. We walk up to them at the bike rack "Mike" I say and he turns around and drops his bike "what are you doing here?" He asks "shopping" I say bluntly "You?" I ask "getting a gift for nana and you but I only have $3.50 so it's hard" he says "super hard" Lucas adds while Will is standing behind them watching in amusement.
"Ice cream is $1.25, you could have asked me to get ice cream with you" I say and he just stares at me "You know what Mike?" I ask "what" he says quietly "I don't want to be lied to by the one person I thought I could trust, if you didn't want to hang out with me you could've just said so" I explain "so" I say "I dump your ass" I say smirking and I turn around grabbing Max's hand and I walk away onto the bus, Max and I laugh and high five.
