We are in Mike's basement and El is spying on Hopper to see where he is.
I'm pretty mad at her, we have the same powers and when Billy almost killed me she could have helped me.
I can't stay mad at her forever though, maybe I'm just being selfish? I don't know.
"I found him" El says " where is he?" I ask.
"Woods" El mutters "he's with Wills mom" she says "my--my mom?" Will asks in confusion.
"What are they doing?" Max asks "ill annoy, they're going to ill annoy" El says.
I think she mean Illinois but my thoughts get cut off by Mikes mom knocking on the door "Mike breakfast!" She yells.
"Not now mom!" Mike yells and I laugh.
"Illinois? Illinois, like the state?" Mike asks.
"The state of Illinois?" I ask as El takes off her blindfold.
She shrugs "ill-annoy" she mutters.
I have marks and cuts on my body and currently Max, El and I are in the bathroom.
Max is getting rid of the blood on El's nose with a washcloth.
She looks at me "does it still hurt?" She asks about the mark on my neck "only when I talk" I say.
"Well it's a good thing you aren't Mike then, blah blah blah blah blah, you'd be in constant pain" she says.
They both laugh but I don't, I don't think it's funny to just insult Mike like that.
We hear the boys arguing about us conspiring against them and about us not being over we're just taking a break.
"It wasn't! You guys do realise we can hear everything you're saying right" Max yells.
I walk out of the bathroom and go over to Mike "don't worry it's a break, it will be over soon" I whisper in his ear.
I wink at him and turn around, he blushes but we hear a knock on the door.
"Not now mom!" Mike yells "Mike open the door!" It's Nancy.
"It was the exact same thing that happened to Will last year" Nancy says.
"And look at this, the body temperatures" she says.
"He likes it cold" Will says reading some paper Nancy got from the hospital.
"Okay so this crazy old woman who was eating fertilizer--" Mike gets cur off by Nancy "Mrs. Driscoll"
"Right yeah Mrs. Driscoll, what time was this attack?" Mike asks "last night" Nancy says.
"Yeah but what time last night?" Mike asks "around 9:00" Nancy says "you waited all night to call?" Jonathan asks.
"I was waiting for the doctors to run some tests" she says "you weren't there?" Will asks
"Well I'm here now aren't I?" Jonathan asks "hallelujah" Nancy says.
"Ooh" Lucas says, I can feel the tension, clearly they're in a similar situation to Mike and I.
"Um so what time was your sauna test?" Nancy asks "around 9:00" we all say.
"Well that proves it, that proves my theory!" Nancy says.
"She's flayed, just like Billy" Mike says.
"Flayed?" Jonathan asks "the Mind Flayer, he flays people, takes over their mind. Once they do that they basically become him" Mike explains.
