"Then gross" Max says in disgust
"Seriously Mike?" Nancy asks
"I'm just trying to demonstrate how careless Max is with Y/N's powers, in fact how careless you all are" Mike yells
"You're treating her like she's some kind of machine, when she's not a machine. And I don't want her to die looking for the flayed when they've obviously vanished off the face of the earth. So can we please just come up with a new plan because I love her and I can't lose her again!" Mike yells
It goes silent....
That's when I walk out "what's going on?" I ask
"Nothing nothing" Mike says
"Just a family discussion" Lucas says smirking
"Oh" I say "I found him" I add
"Found who?" Nancy asks
"My brother" I say
"Huh who? You have a brother?" Nancy asks
"Oh I forgot you guys don't know.....El isn't my real sister.... but Billy is my real brother" I say and everyone's jaw drops except for El, Mike and Max.
Time skip
I'm sitting in front of the tv with the static on.
I put my blindfold on, my nose already bleeding.
I start to breath heavily and I take my blindfold off.
"What's he doing now?" Max asks
"I need some water" I say as I get up and walk to the kitchen.
I grab a cup and fill it with water from the tap.
I quickly drink it, drowning out the others conversation.
I put the glass down after I have finished my water and look at the lucky charms box that was on the counter.
The rainbows just bring back memories of when El and I saw Mama.
I put the box down and walk into the living room.
"Billy knows it, he's been there" I say
"To the source" I add
"Yeah but--" I cut Mike off
"Its a trap, I know, we can't go to Billy but I think there's another way" I explain
"A way for me to see where he's been" I add
I turn on the tv static again and sit on the floor
Mike gets on the floor next to me, "Y/N I know you think you have to do this, but you don't" Mike says
"It's just you've only done this before once" he says " And your 'mom' she loved you, and wanted you to know what happened" he says.
I tense up "Billy's mind is sick, diseased" he adds
"The mind flayer is in him" he says
"He can't hurt me, not in there" I say
"And she wasn't really my mom, Billy's my actual brother and even though it wont change anything, I know he still loves me. It wont stop him but deep down I know he loves me. Ill be fine" I say and grab Mikes hand
"We don't know that" he says
"Mike" I say looking in his eyes "I need you to trust me" I say
He looks at Max and back at me "yeah, just be careful" he says and goes back to his chair.
