Draco banged his fists on his father's chest and yelled,
"YOU DID THIS TO HER!"
Draco ran up to his room teary-eyed. He kicked the trunk next to his bed and almost flipped over his dresser out of anger. He sat on his bed letting out a painful scream—so loud you could hear it from miles away. Draco wasn't one to show emotions, this was one of the only times.
Draco was so angry he could possible burst. His face turning a bright red and his veins popping out. He was upset with everyone—including himself."HOW COULD I PUT HER IN THAT POSITION! I COULD'VE DEFENDED HER! HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!" He yelled.
"WHY HER! WHY NOT ME!" He shrieked.
A few minutes passed and his mother Narcissa opened the door of his lightless room."Thought you'd might like some tea." She said quietly.
She placed it on his dark brown dresser and went over to open the black curtains of his window. Draco remained silent on his bed. He was sitting up and staring off into the distance.
She looked out of the window for a moment."Beautiful view you have."
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked him."No." He said a few moments later, still not looking away from the wall.
"Alright then."
She pressed her lips together and walked over to the teacup—putting it in his hands before walking out of the room.
His cold hands shaking, almost spilling the tea everywhere. All that could be heard was the sound of the teacup hitting the white and gold saucer. He let the tea grow cold in his hands and didn't bother to even look at it."Lucius." Narcissa Malfoy called from a few rooms down the corridor.
"Yes, Narcissa?" Lucius answered in his quiet toned voice.
"I think you should talk to...Draco."
She looked down nervously."For what?"
"Lucius, haven't you heard the boy? He's been shouting for the past 2 hours!"
He turned his back to her."I suppose I'll say a word or two."
Lucius walked down the long maroon colored carpet with yellow prints on it down the hall to Draco's bedroom."Son." Lucius knocked twice with his knuckle.
"Not taking visitors." Draco said with bland expression in his voice.
Lucius unlocked the door with his wand and walked in without invite. He walked over to Draco's bed and sat down next to him, taking the no longer warm tea from his hands and setting it on his bedside table."Son," Lucius said once again.
He put his hand on Draco's back causing him to shiver."I know your upset but you can't be. That girl was worthless, a waste of your time. The time you spent with her could've been spent fixing the cabinet. And what about your headmaster? Haven't you thought about killing him soon?"
"Father," Draco said
His voice trembling and his eyes watering.
"I can't."
A single tear ran down his pale cheek."Look at me boy." Lucius turned Draco to face him. "You must go through with the plan whether you like it or not. Stop crying over that nonsense and start acting like a man."
Lucius got up from the bed and began to walk towards the door."SHE WAS NOT NONSENSE!" Draco shot up from the bed.
"DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME!" Lucius shouted.
He punched Draco, leaving him on the floor and walking out of the room—slamming the door as he left.
Draco's hand brushed the side of his face that was hit. He sat up and looked into the mirror that was next to him— his cheek pinker than ever. The punch was going to leave a mark.
