?chapter 16?

"(l/n)!! i thought you guys bailed on us!!" he pouts. i laugh and pat his back.

"HINATA HOW COME (L/N) ALWAYS GIVES YOU PHYSICAL AFFECTION-" tanaka shouts at the poor kid.

i cover my mouth to prevent myself from laughing like crazy. tanaka continues to yell at hinata and noya joins in. daichi has a deadly expression on his face and the two quickly stop. i chuckle at the two's shenanigans.

"(l/n)!" suga gasps.

"eh? what's the matter suga-san?" i ask in a concerned tone. he points at my neck.

"is that.. a hickey?~" he teases. i cover a part of my neck with my hand. i can hear tsukki trying to hide his snickering behind me. i turn around and give him a glare. he snickers even more.

"WHO WAS IT- I'M LITERALLY GOING TO MURDER HIM." noya yells. i cover my face in embarrassment. everyone's laughing. even daichi's laughing, he isn't scolding noya like usual. my face is red. 

"uwahhh it's not a h-hickey..!" i try to lie. they laugh even more. 

"so, what should we do?" yamaguchi asks.

"we could get some food?" i suggest.

everyone gives an approving nod.

"great!" i smile, "where should we go?"

"we could go to that new sushi place." kageyama suggests as he takes a sip from his drink.

"ooo i've been meaning to go there, great idea kags!" i giggle. the boy blushes at the nickname. everyone nods and we all make our way there. i don't know if i'm going crazy or not but i could feel someone's eyes on me. i look around the mall when i accidentally walk right into kageyama and spill his drink.

"oh my gosh i'm so sorry!" i apologize nervously. kageyama has a very annoyed expression on his face. i continue apologizing to him as tsukki and yamaguchi laugh in the background.

"it's fine." kageyama sighs.

"h-here wait, i'll get you another drink!" i say.

"w-wait (l/n) it's fine-" he tries to stop me.

"noo i wasn't watching where i was going and i spilled it, i'll get another one for you!" i smile. i run over to the cashier and get the same drink for kageyama and run back. i give him the cup and a big smile. his face turns a little pink.

"t-thank you (l/n).." he mumbles.

"no worries!" i nod.

"okay we found the sushi place!" noya says. everyone goes up to the cashier and orders their food. we find a little place to sit at the food court and sit there. i scan the place for a cafe and smile when i see one. i place down my food and get up.

"where are you going (l/n)?" suga asks.

"i need to quickly grab something from the cafe!" i reassure him. he nods and i run there. i order a strawberry shortcake and walk back to our table.

"ooo is that a strawberry shortcake?" yamaguchi asks.

"yup! i owe tsukki one so i thought i might get it for him now!" i giggle. i place the cake down in front of him.
