Goddamn, why did you even wake up?

As if things weren't weird enough, Hawks woke up next to you.

"Morning, sunshine" he smiled that irresistible, thought-consuming smile of his. "You sleep well?"

"I... guess" you muttered, closing your eyes and wishing that you'd be able to just go back to the realm of dreams. Hell, even a nightmare would be better than waking up to this much, much realer one. "You?"

"Yeah~" he chirped, brushing a (h/l) strand of stray (h/c) lock out from your face, still smiling. "Welp, I'm getting up!"

Of course he's a morning person.

He threw the cover off of himself - the way he slept, his wings were either flattened out behind him as he slept on his side, or he just sleeps on his stomach - and merrily skipped off towards the closet to grab some clothes, before making his way to the bathroom.

You rolled over, and the bed was still warm from his body heat. Even smelled like him, too.

'Keigo is acting weird. Pet names and cheerful like that is not what he would've done yesterday'

"I know he seems a bit weird, but that's fine. He's just... a lot happier this morning" you indulged in the warmth, trying to ignore X.

'But he's still acting sus as hell. Isn't that bothering you?'

"You know what else is bothering me? It starts with an 'X' and ends with a... uh... 'X'"

'Did you both reach some sort of deal stating that yesterday didn't exist or something? (y/n) you know--'

To block out her voice, you shoved the covers over your ears and added a pillow for good measure.

'Tha-- are you stupid? You know that won't block me out. I'm in your head'

"LALALALALALALALALALALALA! I CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUUU!"

'You're such a child' X scoffed.

"If only" you muttered, rolling over to your side, to the point where you almost fell off the bed.

'So you're just going to ignore that guy's sudden happy mood?'

"What do you want me to do? Interrogate him?"

'Yeah'

"I... I'm not doing that" you rolled your eyes, slowly inching your way off the bed. "Now, if you could please leave us-"

'Us? Oh, so now you two are together again? I guess I missed quite a bit yesterday, then. Or, perhaps, you're lying to me...'

"Lying?"

'Have Keigo and you made up yet?'

"He just tucked me in bed and we... cuddled a bit, I think. I can't really remember, that quirk-erasing bullet fucked me up"

'You sure that Keigo isn't the one who fucked you u-'

X's scandalous claim was interrupted by the door of the bathroom opening, revealing an angel with wet hair and no shirt on.

"Hey, you're actually up" he grinned.

"Yessir" you smiled back. Damn, that was a quick shower. "Do you mind if I ask what happened last night? It's all kinda foggy"

It was indeed foggy, but you pretended to remember less than you actually did, just to see how he reacts.

"Not much" he reached for a towel and messily dried up his hair, and fuck it was hard not to stare. "You got really sleepy so I just put you to bed"
