[Ice Age] Diego x Reader

Y/n POV:

"Y/n? Y/n wake up... Y/n... " I heard a voice say in front of me and I felt someone poke me in the side. I muttered and took a better position and was asleep again until I felt how I was lifted up. I opened my eyes quickly and saw how Manny had lifted me into the air and threw me into a snow. I sank into the snow and immediately jumped away and ran closer to the boys.

"Okay, okay! I'm awake! Well, we have to go now, you boys always need so much time to waking up, like come on." I said and walked in front of them and even though I didn't see it I knew the boys rolled their eyes behind me.

"Y/n, that's the wrong way." Diego said behind me and I stopped.

"Oh, yeah, hehe..." I said and turned around. Then we all set off for Glacier Pass.

The closer we had walked to Half Peak, the more it has started snowing. We walked in the wind while Sid was holding the baby instead of me. Diego and I were the first in line, then there were Manny and Sid and the baby was walking after us.

"All right, let's get you all cleaned up. I mean, what's your daddy gonna say if you go back all schmutzy and stinky like this?" Sid asked the baby as he began to clean him.

"Let me just clean that up. That looks good. A little bit here." Sid said and licked his hand and wiped the baby's face. But then Manny got enough of it so he stopped Sid and pulled his hand away from the baby's face.

"You clean up nice, little fella." Manny said.

"I think he's starting to look like me. Hey, Y/n, Diego, what do you think?" Sid asked and I turned to look at him and I raised my eyebrows,

"Well, I don't know Sid..." I said with a slight smile. Diego, on the other hand, didn't answer but looked away from us and thought about something while we stopped.

"Maybe we shouldn't do this." Diego said and I turned my head to him with a questioning look on my face.

"What, why?" I asked.

"Because if we save him, he'll grow up to be a Hunter. Who do you think he'll hunt?" Diego kinda snapped to me.

"Well-" I started and was saying back to him but Sid interrupted me.

"Maybe because we save him, he won't hunt us. Ow!" Sid said and then the baby poked him in the nose.

"Yeah, and maybe he'll grow fur and a long, skinny neck and call you Mama!" Diego said in a rather angry voice.

"Diego! What's your problem? You don't sound like yourself right now." I told him back because this cold wind had already annoyed me enough and yet the fact that Diego was in a bad mood.

"Nothing. Let's go. I will freeze my tail off." Diego said and looked around, then we continued our journey. Something's wrong with him, I can feel it.

I walked first, Manny, Sid and the baby after me, but Diego, in turn, stayed behind. He really isn't his own right now and that's if something scares me a bit.

Diego's POV:

"Diego! What's your problem? You don't sound like yourself right now. " Y/n snapped back at me because of what I said to Sid and how I said it.

"Nothing. Let's go. I will freeze my tail off." I answered and looked around. I didn't see Soto and his pack yet, which was a good thing. I don't know if I should do this? But if I tell Y/n, how she could react to it? I can't lose her! Think Diego... think...

I saw how Manny, Y/n, Sid and the baby walked in front of me so I stayed behind. I felt how someone was staring at me so I looked up, on a rock tongue I saw an Oscar looking at me. Then he went for a walk back, which means they are ready to attack.
