I wake up to the soft shuffling of someone moving around the room. I glance up and see Vinnie changing out of his clothes into pajamas. He glances up when he realizes Im staring at him.
"Baby? Are you awake?" He croaked out. He walked over to the bed and sat down.
"I'm awake bub." I answered. I looked at him and I saw how hurt he was. His face was blotchy and stained with tears.
"Baby I'm so sorry. I fucked up." He managed to get out before completely breaking down. He sobbed quietly and I sat up and embraced him.
"I shouldn't have called you a bitch. That was a dick move of me. And I shouldn't have said you were flirting with Troy."
"Please don't leave me." He whispered into my shoulder.
"I love you too much to break up with you over stupid shit like this." I whispered.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked softly.
I lifted his face up and brought his soft lips to mine. I finally felt at peace.
"I love you Vinnie."
"I love you more."
