Make A Wish | Na Jaemin

Areum weaved through the bodies of people and headed towards the kitchen where the drinks were.
She reached the counter filled with various juices and alcohol, grabbing the red cup filled with the burning liquid.

"Hey Areum! Woah, um, are you okay?" Jeno looked closer to her face. "Have you been crying?"

"I'm fine. I just need something to drink," she said, downing the contents in the cup.

"Slow down, I thought you said you hardly drink at parties?"

She threw her cup away before grabbing another. "Well, not tonight." She smiled at Jeno who had a confused and worried face. "I'm gonna go, see ya."

For the next few minutes Areum continually drank, going over to the crowd of people dancing and joining them. All of sudden she felt the hands of someone on her, but at that moment she didn't care. She just wanted to forget what had happened with Renjun and have fun.

But then the hands went away. "Areum? Are you okay? Jeno told me you were crying."

Areum turned around to see Jaemin with a worried face, and she hooked her arms around his neck, dancing.
He looked down at her and sighed. "Look, I'm sorry for getting mad earlier and leaving you."

She shook her head and leaned towards his ear. "Dance with me."

Jaemin's brows knitted together as he watched her dance, his hands landing on her waist. "Areum, you look very sexy right now but I need to know if you're okay."

Areum stopped dancing. "You think I'm sexy?" She giggled.

"Are you drunk?"

She started dancing again. "Maybe a little~"

Jaemin sighed and grabbed her hands off his neck before leading her out of the crowd.

"Jaemin, where are you taking me- I was having fun!" She whined.

He lead her upstairs, weaving past students and through a hallway, entering an empty room.
Jaemin sat her on the edge of the bed and sat down next to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Areum giggled. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"

"Because the Areum I know doesn't drink this much and go dancing with the hands of a stranger all over her."

She narrowed her eyes and pouted. "But isn't this what we agreed to? To have me break out of my shell?"

"Yes but-" he sighed. "I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier and leaving. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, let alone make you cry."

Areum shook her head. "I wasn't crying because of you. It was Renjun."

"What?"

"He confessed to me and said some stupid shit about being jealous when I'm with you."

Jaemin's heart sank. He could only assume that she accepted Renjun's feelings. "...what did you say to him?"

She shook her head. "Jaemin?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you going to break my heart?" She asked. "Are you just using me as entertainment?"

"What?"

Areum shrugged. "That's what Renjun told me."

He scowled. "And why the hell would Renjun tell you something like that."

"I don't know. Hey, can I ask for a favor?"

"What." He deadpanned.

"Can you at least kiss me before you break my heart?"

He furrowed his brows. "What? Areum, I'm not going to break-"

In that moment she didn't know what she was doing- she blamed the alcohol. But she leaned forward, placing her lips onto his.
It took a moment for Jaemin to process what was happening but once he did, he kissed her back.

Soft kisses turned into passionate ones as Jaemin put his hand on Areum's neck and pulled her closer.
Both of them stopped kissing to catch their breath before reattaching their lips.
Jaemin slowly pushed Areum down onto the bed, hovering over her. He started planting kisses along her jaw, down her neck and along her collarbone.
Jaemin's lips went back to her neck, his tongue swirling on the exposed skin.

Areum was in euphoria, her hands clutching onto the material of Jaemin's shirt from the overwhelming sensation- she didn't want this to end.

But then the feeling went away.

Areum furrowed her brows and looked at Jaemin, who was now looking down at her.
"Why?" She whined.

He shook his head. "This isn't right. You're drunk and not in the right emotional state right now."

"But I am in the right state!"

Jaemin helped her up from the bed. "You're still in love with Renjun anyways," he mumbled.

"What?"

"I said that you won't remember any of this in the morning anyways," he lied.

For the rest of the night Jaemin stayed by Areum's side, in case she did anything crazy.
At one point she almost jumped into the pool fully clothed because Chenle dared her to but luckily Jisung was there to stop her.
There were a few times where Jaemin caught sight of Renjun looking at the pair, to which Renjun would always look away first.

Despite the wildness of the party, all he could focus on was Areum and her smiling face. All he could think about was the feeling of her lips on his.
