Steve's POV:

Thanos, the very monster who wiped half of the entire universe. He first took my brother, Bucky. Then Sam, Wanda. And then, costed me my love, Natasha. The only reason why I wake. The only reason I was joyful. And now, she's gone too. How many more have to be sacrificed?

Now he was right in front of me, sitting on the pile he destroyed. If I need to be sacrificed to stop all the others dying, so be it.

I heard Clint yelling, 'Cap! Look!'

'Steve!'

I heard a voice call out. A voice I thought I would never hear again. But not this time. My heart immediately repaired itself.

'Natasha!', I picked her up, hugged her like I will never let her go. And I will never.

'I told you,' she said, turning her features into her famous smirk. 'I'd see you in a minute. Now please put me down, we have a jack-ass we need to kill.' She patted my arms.

I put her down, reluctantly.

Her eyes went to my hand where I was holding Mjolnir.
'You can lift Thor's hammer? That's awesome!' Nat remarked.
'Yeah . . .' I said awkwardly. 'It's great.'

I threw it back to Thor, who just kept it on the ground, clutching rather tightly to his axe.

Tony walked over to us. He had tears falling down his eyes.
'Tony Stark,' she said. 'You missed me?'
He smiled at her.
'Get in here, Natalie,' he said and hugged her.

Then all 6 of us joined in. Eventually so did Rhodey, Rocket and Scott. Even Nebula.

'Ahem,' someone cleared their throat.

It was a man with a goatee exactly like Tony. Except this man can pull it off much better. He looked very impatient, crossing his arms. We all rolled our eyes at him and broke apart.

'Cap. Ca--can you read me?' a voice came into my ear. 'On your left.'
