I know this book was completed, but I felt like writing another part for those of y'all who still kept this book added to one of their lists. Surprise!!
Also I may do these later in the future if I feel like writing Hamilton when I have no one-shot requests up.

The wind gently blew passed my face as I rocked back in my chair. Three kids chased each other in the distance. A boy chased a squealing girl and her brother around with a carved wooden sword.
"I'm gonna catch you, you darn patriots!" The boy faked a bad British accent.
"You'll never catch us, you stinky Redcoat!" The little girl squealed back.
I sighed, knowing that although these children were born after the war ended, they would still be taught all about it in school.
"Hey," a pair of hands placed themselves on my shoulders from behind. "Come back inside; I made tea!"
I turned around to grin at John, whom I had been visiting for a week, and stood up and walked through the door.
I leaned into my hand, taking a sip of tea. "Why are kids always so fascinated with wars and action these days? Can't they just go back to reading books about fairytales?"
"I guess it's just human nature, Y/N," John chuckled. "Just like even though you're a woman, you wanted to fight instead of bake!"
I rolled my eyes. "Even though you're a woman," I mocked. "Even though you're a man, you still like to play with dolls with Eliza's children."
"Maybe that's because I want kids of my own," he smirked and looked at me.
"Oh, get a life," I hit him in the arm lightly.
"I think you mean 'get a wife,'" he nodded upward and crossed his arms.
"Hmmm, Peggy's still single," I pointed out innocently.
"But you know who else is still single?"
"Eh, the baker girl that makes good croissants?"
"Y/N, I'm just messing with you!" He laughed.
"Whatever," I huffed and let him hug me. "Now are we going to that play or what?"
