it was a couple of weeks after the group went clubbing and today was the day they would wrap season two. indy was done with filming already but the rest of the crew had a little more to go. so after today they were free to do whatever they wanted. and the group decided to go on a little holiday together to celebrate finishing filming season two.
indy was watching rudy film his last scene behind the camera's, waiting for jonas the yell 'cut' so she could run into rudy's arms and congratulate him.
there were no words to describe how proud indy was of rudy. he had showed her how amazing he could portray jj's feelings. it amazed her every time she watched him act.
"cut! and that's a wrap on season two!" jonas yelled after chase said his last line. indy waisted no time and jumped into rudy's arms. her legs wrapping around his waist and her arms around his neck. he held her thighs a gave them a quick squeeze.
"you did amazing ruds." indy whispered with her head nuzzled in his neck. her breath causing goose bumps on rudy's skin.
"thank you, baby." rudy pulled away from the hug slightly so their faces were close to each other. her legs still around his waist and her arms still around his neck.
"you guys done being all lovey dovey? because we want a hug aswell." chase joked making rudy let go of indy. the entire group got together to form a group hug. a few tears leaving the girl's eyes and the guys pretending that their eyes were 'sweating'.
"you did amazing madi." indy said as madelyn and her hugged. the girls swayed from side to side, hugging each other tightly.
"thank you inds." madi and indy backed away from the hug and quickly wiped away theirs tears, laughing as they did it at the same time.
"well i guess it's time to pack for our vacation!" chase yelled while clapping his hands together. the girls laughed at the boy.
indy got her stuff together and walked over to rudy's trailer. she knocked on the door and heard a quick 'come in'. indy didn't hestitate and immediately opened the door.
"hey, you ready?" she asked. rudy was getting his stuff together. he had a big bag on the couch and stuffed some clothes in it, along with a few other of his belongings.
"yeah. are you excited for our little get away?" rudy asked. he grabbed his bag and indy's hand as they walked out of his trailer.
"i really am. it is going to be great to relax a little." indy chuckled. she tightened her fingers around his hand and her other hand grabbed his bicep. she slowly leaned her head against his shoulder. rudy smiled at the gesture and gave her a kiss on her head.
they walked out of the building onto the parking lot. rudy opened the door for indy and she sat down after giving him a bright smile. rudy closed the door and put his bags in the trunk. he then got in the drivers seat and started the car.
the ride was silent, but both were tired and comfortable in the silence. the radio was silently playing some music in the background.
it didn't take long for them to arrive at the apartment building. both got out of the car and headed to their separate apartments after saying goodbye and giving each other a quick kiss.
they both needed to pack for the holiday since they had the leave early the next morning. indy got to her room and started packing. she made sure she had enough outfit choices and bikinis to wear. it only took her forty-five minutes to get her stuff together.
the only problem was that her suitcase wouldn't close. she had tried everything. sitting on top of it, taking a few things out and even just trying to pull on the zippers. she was still trying to close her suitcase when rudy walked into her room. she hadn't noticed him leaning against the doorframe until she heard him chuckle. the sound filling het ears and making her smile.
rudy had seen her struggle with her suitcase and couldn't help the chuckle coming out of his mouth. it slightly startled her but she shot him a quick smile which made his heart beat faster. he waisted no time and quickly helped her with her suitcase. getting it to close in no time.
"my hero." indy smiled giving him a quick peck on the lips. rudy had taken his suitcase over to indy's apartment so he could stay the night there and he wouldn't have to go back to his place.
the spent the night watching movies and snuggling in the bed together. indy had dozed off halfway through the second movie. her head was on rudy's chest along with one of her legs. he had one arm around his waist. his other was stroking her hair. he couldn't help but inhale her vanilla scented perfume. the smell made his heart flutter. the smile didn't leave his face when he as well dozed off to sleep, with the girl of his dreams in his arms.
THE ALARM WENT OFF as indy quickly stirred away. she hit the snooze button and cuddled up with rudy, deciding she wanted a little more time with just the two of them in bed together. indy stroked a few hairs out of rudy's face and kissed his nose. rudy scrunched his nose and fluttered his eyes open.
"morning." rudy said with his adorable morning voice which made indy's heart flutter every time she heard it.
"it's actually four a.m." indy giggled. she sat up straight in bed and checked her phone. she had missed a few text from the outer banks group chat. saying they needed to be outside of the apartment complex in forty minutes.
"we need to be downstairs in forty minutes ruds." indy stroked the side of rudy's face. he was still half asleep and smiled at the feeling of her skin against his.
"i'll go shower first." indy gave him a quick kiss on his forehead and got out of the bed. hearing rudy whine while she entered the bathroom, making her giggle at the sound.
she quickly showered washing her hair and her body, it helped her wake up. she got dressed and entered the bedroom again, seeing rudy was still in bed.
"you need to wake up baby." indy chuckled while turning the light on in the room. rudy whined again and made grabby hands for indy to come cuddle with him again. as much as indy wanted to cuddle with rudy she knew that he needed to shower as well. and if he didn't do it now they would be late and miss their flight to california.
they rented a beach house for the entire group to stay at for a week. the group excisted of the two madi's, chase, jonathan, austin, drew and of course rudy and indy.
"come on wake up ruds." indy chuckled seeing the state the boy was in. there was no way rudy would get up himself at the moment so indy grabbed his hands and pulled him up. he finally opened his eyes and needed to adjust to the bright lights.
"you can sleep again on the plane."
"morning inds." rudy grabbed indy's waist and flipped back down on the bed, his back hitting the mattres. she was straddling him, with her face against his chest. she chuckled at the quick movement.
"you really need to get up." indy laughed. she sat straight up with her hands in his chest, him looking up at her.
"fine." he grabbed her waist and switched positions. he gave her a quick peck on the lips and got up from the bed, making his way towards the bathroom to shower.
as rudy was showering, indy gathered the last of her things and stuffed it into her backpack. it didn't take long for rudy to get ready as well and they made their way towards the kitchen, where the two madi's were already sitting.
"goodmorning you two." bailey said. she was way to happy in the morning and rudy groaned at the sound of her cheery voice. indy laughed at the boy, he definetly wasn't a morning person.
they all gathered outside of the apartment complex and piled into two cars with their suitcases. they needed to hurry because drew forgot his passport and needed to ran upstairs again to get it which made them almost miss their flight.
the flight wasn't that long. rudy and indy slept most of the flight and watched a movie during the times they were awake. not long after, they arrived in the sunny california and were headed to their beach house.
