While Luz and Amity had yet to work out a designated day for date night, they still did their best to make sure that they took one day out of the week to spend some proper time together. Whether it be going out in the human world, walking the markets and admiring what new strange things the vendors had to sell that week in the Boiling Isles, or watching a movie at any given place of the three locations they could (Luz's mom's house, the Owl House, or Amity's Manor), it didn't matter. This week, however, Luz had insisted on having Amity watch a few of her favorite movies at the Owl House. So that's what they were doing, cuddled up on the couch under a blanket with snacks and movies piled up on the coffee table before them. Luz was reclined against the arm of the couch with Amity on top of her, arms wrapped around her gently as they gazed at the television screen. They were just finishing up their second movie of the evening. The duo were dressed in pajamas, as they had planned for Amity to spend the night.
"So.. is there any particular reason why she didn't look at the tunnel in that crawlspace, shut and lock the door back, and nope the fuck out of there?" Amity asked, gesturing at the TV as the credits started to scroll.
Luz shrugged. "I dunno. I mean, if I were her age, I probably would've inspected it, too." She smiled. "After all, inspecting strange phenomenon is what brought me here to the Boiling Isles in the first place. And I was basically her age when that happened."
"Right, except it worked out in your favor." Amity said. "You got a mentor, friends, a girlfriend, and got to learn magic." She pointed to the television again. "While all she got was some crazy imposter bitch trying to kill her."
"Touche." Luz chuckled. "But let's not forget how you were totally okay with killing me the first time we met."
Amity looked at her with feigned offense. "I wasn't going to kill you."
"And that emphasis on the 'I' makes it all better, Miss 'dissect the human and prove that Willow is faking so I can have my badge back.'" Luz said.
"I didn't say any of that." Amity huffed.
"No, but that's the basis of what happened." Luz said. "And you definitely did say, and I quote, 'I want my badge.' Just more angry and evil-like."
"Fuck you."
"Is that an offer?" Luz cocked an eyebrow with that smug grin she almost always wore when messing with Amity.
Amity rolled her eyes and pushed herself up off Luz's body. "You're impossible." The two shifted around so Amity could sit up properly and the greenette stretched, shrugging off the blanket and groaning quietly at the satisfying pull in her muscles to get rid of the fatigue. When she lowered her arms, she looked at the table ripe with their snacks of choice, some of Luz's favorite human food that Amity liked as well, and some of what few 'mildly strange' things the Isles had to offer and Luz could tolerate. Amity sighed when her eyes fell on the empty bottle of apple blood on the table. "Looks like we're out of the apple blood." she noted. She looked at Luz, who was in the process of trying to crack her neck. "Does Eda have any more?"
"She should." Luz said, craning her neck the other way. "You can go and check. I'll replace it tomorrow if I have to."
With a nod, Amity got up and made her way to the kitchen and across to the fridge. She opened it up and bent down to peer inside, mumbling to herself as she scanned the contents of the refrigerator until her eyes fell upon what she was searching for. With a small smile she reached in a grabbed the carton and shut the fridge back, returning to the living room where Luz was shifting through the movies she'd brought from her mother's.
"Which one do you wanna watch next?" the human asked when Amity entered. She held up two cases for Amity to see. She held up one case a little higher than the other. "We could watch this one, which is basically a horror movie about a human that befriends a girl he doesn't know is a vampire. Or," - she raised the other movie - "we could watch this one, which is a comedy about a group of acapella girls that are basically trying to... well, find their sound for lack of better words. It's a little ironic in a funny way."
"Acapella?" Amity asked curiously.
"Oh, so you know how instruments are used to make music?" Luz said. She forgot there were still a few things that Amity didn't properly understand about the human world.
"Yeah." Amity answered, coming to sit next to Luz.
"Acapella is when you improvise all the instrument sounds with your mouth instead." Luz explained, pointing to her lips. At Amity's skeptical expression, Luz laughed softly, albeit awkwardly, and waved the movie case. "Alright, how about we just watch this so that you can see for yourself?"
"Sounds good to me." Amity said simply, eager to understand better.
Luz grinned and stood, crossing the room to swap out the movies in the DVD player and coming back to the couch to sit down. Amity poured herself a quick cup of apple blood while Luz opted for one of her own human drinks on the table. It didn't take long for them to return to their previous position as before, with Amity fully invested in the movie and Luz admiring the way she laughed at some of the scenes and dialogue. It always made her happy to see Amity enjoying the things that brought Luz similar joy back home, and even more so to actually be able to share such things with her in the first place.
During a particular shower scene between the main girl and the redhead, two characters that Amity already believed needed and deserved to be together, the greenette turned her attention to her girlfriend ready to relay her thoughts when she paused, taken aback by Luz already watching her with a look of fondness possessing her features.
"What?" Amity asked, to which Luz's eyes widened slightly and she cleared her throat a little.
"Oh, I uh.. Nothing." Luz replied. She attempted to return her attention to the screen, but she knew Amity wasn't going to drop it.
"No, what is it?" Amity leaned up more to properly look Luz in the face.
The corner of Luz's mouth pulled back a bit sheepishly and she fumbled in search of words for a moment. "I'm... I'm just glad you're enjoying the movie, is all."
"Mm. Mhm." Amity nodded, not buying it for a second. "I doubt that's all." When Luz said nothing more, not even turning to look at her, Amity reached up to cup a hand at her cheek and guide her face in her direction. In the light of the TV screen, she could tell that Luz was blushing faintly. "Luz, you know you can talk to me. About anything."
Luz exhaled and pressed her cheek further into the palm of Amity's hand. "I know..." she mumbled. "I meant what I said, I'm glad you're enjoying the movie. I was just... thinking.."
"About?"
"...About how I never got to share things I enjoyed like this back home. When I was younger." Luz said quietly. She reached up and tucked her fingers into her hair, scratching at her head. Amity's expression softened as the brunette went on. "It means a lot to me that you try the things I like, even if you don't end up liking it yourself. You don't judge the little things that make me happy, you don't say I'm weird for liking something. I told you about how I wasn't exactly... anything back in my human schools. I had maybe... one or two friends? But even then, I was just an outsider. Our interests didn't line up very much and good luck on finding anyone that didn't think Azura was a 'kid's book.'" Luz accented her words with quotation marks and a scoff. She eased up. "But here, I have you, Willow, Gus, Hunter, Eda, King, everybody. And you all love me just as I am and at least try to take interest in my dumb human hobbies and stuff. Even if for Gus it's more of a fascination, but..." She chuckled lightly.
"Luz." Amity said, and the Latina's mouth closed silently. "It's okay. I understand how you feel. You and I both know I'm no stranger to hiding who I really am to those around me. It wasn't until you came around that I started to feel and act like myself." Amity inched upwards, gifting Luz with a gentle and encouraging smile. "But I'm glad that you're happy. And I'm glad I get to be the one you share these things with like this." She nodded her head towards the movie. "Anything that makes you happy is okay in my book. Okay?"
Luz returned the smile and wrapped her arms around the witch, holding her ever closer and resting her forehead against hers. "I love you, Amity." she whispered.
"I love you, too, Luz." Amity said just as softly.
Their lips met, chaste and soft little pecks. Luz hummed against her girlfriend's lips when they finally held the kiss, smiling when she felt Amity reposition herself to be straddling her hips instead. Amity teased her with a playfully brief bite at her lower lip, making Luz tighten her hold around her and sit up straighter to kiss her with more force. Luz's hand snaked up the greenette's back to mix with her mane of hair and caress the back of her head to hold her in place. She heard a giggle bubble up in Amity's throat and echoed the laughter herself, though less pitched. Regretfully, the human broke the kiss after another few moments. Though Amity didn't seem so keen on stopping the advancements just yet and occupied her lips on Luz's jawline.
"Heh, what happened to watching the movie..?" Luz murmured.
"We could play it back later... I'm more interested in this right now." Amity spoke with her lips still pressed to Luz's skin, and the way her breath passed over it made Luz tremble underneath her.
"I like the way you think, Blight." Luz smirked and let herself succumb to the feeling of Amity's mouth finding purchase at the pulse point on her neck. Only for a minute, though, because she dropped her hand from Amity's hair down to her waist where she grabbed her firmly. In one quick motion, she hefted Amity to the other side of the couch and took her place over her, grinning boldly at the look of surprise on the witch's face. She leaned down, a breath away from her face. "But I like the way I think better."
"Oh yeah? And just what are you thinking, Noceda?" Amity asked.
"I'm thinking..." Luz shifted around to detangle them from the blanket and place it over their bodies the right way, save for their heads. She casted a sideways glance at the food on the table. "We've got all these snacks on the table, and yet I have a craving to eat out..."
The blush that took over Amity's face was delicious, only countered by the adorable way her ears drooped shyly and tinged themselves. "That so..?" she breathed.
Luz nodded, already dipping her fingers under the band of Amity's pajama shorts. "Mind if I get a sample of what's on the menu?"
"Be my guest." Amity said.
Satisfied with her answer, Luz inched her hand further into the youngest Blight's shorts and gave her a knowing look with a quirked brow when she felt nothing else between her fingers and Amity's flesh. "No underwear?" she asked, to which Amity just shook her head and smiled. Luz mimicked the action with a chuckle. "What, were you expecting something to happen?"
"Hoping, more like." Amity responded. "And it paid off." Luz rolled her eyes good naturedly at that.
Amity's teeth caught her lip in anticipation when Luz eased her legs apart and found her heat, biting back a moan when a finger was plunged between her legs and dragged along her slit. Her back arched off the couch when her girlfriend delayed herself by circling around her clit a good few times before finally pulling back and lifting her finger to her lips. She stuck her tongue out and made a show of licking Amity's arousal off it, moaning at the taste, much to the chagrin of the witch who attempted to sink lower under the blanket and close her legs back.
"¿A dónde vas, gatita?" Luz intercepted her by her neck with her other hand and pinned her down to keep her still, grinning devilishly at the soft mewl Amity couldn't keep from escaping in time.
"N-nowhere." Amity uttered. She felt her insides squirm at the way Luz spoke through her teeth. Her heart was racing, practically beating directly against her ribcage. Excitement coursed her veins like wildfire when Luz's grip strengthened around her neck. She felt her mind start to go fuzzy in the best way,
Luz brought her face closer. "Did I say I was done tasting you?" When Amity shook her head hurriedly, Luz smiled and returned her hand to Amity's shorts. "Be a good girl and lift your hips for me."
Amity did as she was told and raised herself up, allowing Luz to drag her pajamas down her legs and off at her feet. Luz disappeared under the blanket as she'd gone with her went the hand that was around the greenette's neck. While Amity was a bit sad to feel the heat of Luz's palm start to fade from her neck, the emotion didn't last long when she felt Luz's hand rest on her knees and start to push them up into a bent position. She watched as the lump at the bottom of the couch under the blanket deflated with Luz getting down on her stomach between her thighs. Luz's hair tickled the insides of her thighs and she once again bit her lip when Luz began planting kisses along her heated skin. She could tell she was taking her sweet time getting to where she wanted her the most.
"Luz..." she whined, edging her hips forward.
Luz caught fast to her hips and held them down, and when Amity peeked under the blanket she felt her heart seize at the sight of Luz looking back at her. Hazel eyes, intense, dominant, and determined, stared up at her from her nethers with furrowed brows.
"Impatient, are we?" Luz husked, and Amity silently cursed her to the Titan because she knew she breathed against her on purpose. When the witch refused to answer, Luz laughed under her breath. "I can't blame you, it isn't like we've had the best results as of late... I suppose I can give you a break this time..."
Luz tucked herself into the apex of Amity's hips, and Amity had to quickly clap her hand over her mouth to keep from crying out when she felt Luz launch her attack on her slit. Luz's tongue delved betwixt her lips and lapped hungrily from her entrance to her swollen button. Amity writhed and whimpered, the hand not covering her mouth flying down to clutch at Luz's hair. Her nails dug into the human's scalp, but if it bothered her she didn't let it be known. Especially when they scratched at her head when Luz's lips closed around the bundle of nerves and began suckling. Amity's back lifted from the couch again, her head pressing into the arm of the couch as her thighs clenched around Luz's.
"Fuck, fuck, Luz.." she moaned into her hand.
Luz's lips curled into a smile but didn't dare stop their ministrations. The tip of her tongue dancing against the witch's clit every so often and resulting in her juices starting to run down her chin and coat the lower half of her face was nothing if not heaven itself. She had to hold Amity's hips tighter when she starting bucking upwards, and Amity had to settle for rolling them instead. Luz stuck her tongue out and let Amity ride it as best she could, groaning and in sheer contentment.
That is until the front door to the Owl House opened suddenly. Amity dropped her body back to the couch, taking her hand from her mouth to grab at the blanket instead to keep it down and Luz went completely still, knowing she wouldn't have enough time to emerge from underneath without looking suspicious and being caught redhanded. She would have to rely on Amity to cover it up.
"Hunter?" Amity said, and Luz swore mentally. She thought he was going to be gone for a while longer.
"Amity?" Hunter said, closing the door behind him. "What are you doing here?"
"It's my date night with Luz." Amity said.
"Oh, shit, that was tonight?" Hunter said. He looked around when Amity nodded. "Then.. where is she?"
"She's up in the bathroom." Amity lied quickly, easily, and Luz thanked her lucky stars that Amity was so good at it. "She'll be back in a minute."
"Ah, well.. Sorry." Hunter said. Luz heard him cross the room. "Didn't mean to intrude. The library ended up closing early due to a... ahem, well, let's just say one of those books from the forbidden section got out and had a taste for flesh." Amity shuddered at the idea and Luz swallowed back a gag of disgust and resisted trying to picture what could've happened. "It.. wasn't pretty." Hunter continued. "But I'll get out of your hair. See you later."
When he was gone, Luz popped out from under the blanket and locked eyes with Amity. The two let out a much needed sigh of relief and, after reaching to the other side of the couch, Luz handed Amity her shorts so she could put them back on.
"Might as well start the movie over." Luz said, having nothing else to say or even wanting to address them being interrupted once again.
"Yeah." Amity agreed, and she reached forward to get the remote off the table.
While she was rewinding back to the beginning, they heard footsteps coming their way again. Hunter poked his head around the corner. "Luz isn't in the bathroom, it's emp-" He stopped when he saw said human sitting beside Amity with an equally just as nonplussed look on her face. The three exchanged glances, and Hunter seemed to put two and two together when he realized and remembered the blanket that now sat over their laps completely flat. The girls blushed a deep crimson when his eyes widened.
"...I don't even wanna know." he said eventually, and left as fast as he had arrived.
