"You were bitten," Ji-min pointed out, voice come out as a whisper as fear settles on her system. She abruptly stood up, her chair creating a loud sound as it gets pushed back, "That's a bite mark. It's clearly a bite mark!"
Dae-su jolted up too, walking back closer to the wall and away from Nam-ra but the snarling from the other side of the wall made him flinch. Gyeong-su shifted his weight from one foot to another, clearly disturb but didn't move back like the other two. The others didn't have the reaction like what was expected to them, even Cheong-san didn't race to grab the discarded music sheet stand on the floor. They just look indifferent.
"No," Su-hyeok spoke monotonously, "She wasn't bitten by a zombie. Tell them."
A small and almost unnoticeable smirk made its way on Nam-ra's lips, "I was bitten by Yoon Gwi-nam," her head and attention turn to Cheong-san, "You know him. The bully."
Hye-wol didn't even know why she expected a fight to unfold knowing that the continuity is absolutely destroyed after someone who was supposed to die live and someone who was supposed to survive until the end dies. Why is it so unfair? She couldn't change what's been written but they could freely control it like it's their own work. Why does the characters don't listen to the author?
"But... but why would Gwi-nam bite you? How can someone even bite that hard?" Ji-min interrogated.
"She already said it Ji-min. We should start trusting each other since we're all going to survive together," Cheong-san stated, "And I wasn't even surprised that Gwi-nam bit her. That guy is a fucking lunatic."
Hye-wol's forehead furrows, "Gwi-nam wasn't bitten by a zombie but he was mauled. You were there when he fell-- or rather you were the one who pushed him. He chased us, Cheong-san ah. Don't you remember? Library?"
Cheong-san turn to her, eyes gleaming with confusion and for a split a second, it was broken by a glint of fury before it was masked by his innocent façade, "What are you saying? We never went to library. There are too many zombies on the ground, it's impossible."
Hye-wol scowl at that but kept quiet. 'Trying to gaslight me, I see? What are they doing? Trying to manipulate me in every way possible?'
"Hye-wol," Ji-min turn to her, "You were saying you guys went to the library? Did you really see Gwi-nam got bitten?"
"I----"
"We didn't went to library so no, we don't see Gwi-nam," Cheong-san cut her sentence.
"Let her speak," Ji-min retaliated with her brows furrow, "She has a mouth and a voice so let her speak."
All eyes turn to Hye-wol--- most of them looking at her like the moment she opens her mouth will going to be the last time she'll open it. So she heave a sigh, "No, we didn't."
"Then why would you say it?" Ji-min exasperated, "Are you scared of them? Why would you? Did Cheong-san threatened you?"
Hye-wol didn't answer, keeping her mouth shut as she felt On-jo's fingers digging on her skin.
"Na-yeon was right," Ji-min concluded when she got no answer, "You guys are obsessed. I've been observing all of you since yesterday night and we're really stupid to not see it."
She steps backwards, closer to the wall as he witness how they're eyes darken, "But now I see it. Hyo-ryeong wasn't really missing right? You guys killed her I bet."
A smirk appears on each other their lips and the next thing Ji-min know is that she fell on the floor with a stabbing pain behind her head.
"Yah! Han Gyeong-su what are you doing?!" Dae-su yelled after seeing that the guy he thought he knew very well--- that guy that could as well be his bestfriend hit Ji-min on the head with the back of the guitar, the harsh sound of wood hitting the back of her head echoes on the whole music room which triggers the aggressive snarls of the zombies.
"She's too loud, it's making my head hurt," Gyeong-su responded, his voice so calm that it sounds so creepy--- like he wasn't really faze by the way he slam the guitar on the girl's head and the way her blood matted her hair.
"You---- You guys.." Ji-min cowers away from them as Nam-ra begins to stand up, blood starts to spread on one of her eye as red veins starts to protrude around it. The poor girl looks at Dae-su to only see that he's being restrained by three guys, "You're all deranged."
"Should've just kept your mouth shut, right?" Su-hyeok mock her, "Maybe we would've spare you."
"Guys! Nam-ra! The fuck are you doing?!" Hye-wol trashes around Cheong-san and On-jo's death grip. She shouldn't have said that... she should've just kept quiet, "I'm sorry okay!"
"This is what happens when you try to go against us, Hye-wol," Cheong-san spoke right in front of her ears, his breath fanning and leaving a warm tingles on her skin, "Watch."
He forces Hye-wol to keep her eyes open as Nam-ra tackles Ji-min to ground, forcing the girl's head to the side to bare her neck before leaning down and agressively biting her neck. Ji-min's scream mix with Dae-su's retaliation echoes on the four corner room, the zombies outside getting crazier as they start to bang their bloody hands on the curtain-covered window.
"Yah! Guys! Nam-ra! Stop!"
"Let go of me!"
"The fuck are you doing?"
"Wujin? Joon-yeong? Gyeong-su? Why the fuck are you doing this?!"
"Dae-su. Dae-su," Wu-jin tries to calm his best friend down as they start to struggle in holding the big guy down, "Stop it! Fuck, just don't fight us if you don't want to be next!"
Yet Dae-su didn't even falter, he tried to push Gyeong-su away from his arm but Joon-yeong held him down, "Just listen, Dae-su. They're not going to have a second thought if you keep going against our way. It's better to just shut your mouth if you don't want them to kill you!"
"But your way is bad!" Dae-su retaliated, eyes averting from Nam-ra feeding on Ji-min and to Hye-wol who's trashing around Cheong-san and On-jo's arms, wailing loud as they whispers things he couldn't hear, "It's disgusting!"
"Dae-su you're my bestfriend," Wu-jins started, grunting when Dae-su tries to push him down, "I don't want you to die."
A snarl clearly from the inside of the room broke their fight, Ji-min's no longer crying but now growling as she trash around Nam-ra's grip but the lass easily snap her head to the side.
Her head turn to the side--- staring directly to Dae-su who immediately stops trashing around when his eyes met the eerie bloody eye of the class president, his legs trembling at the sight of her mouth covered with blood--- Ji-min's blood.
"I'm still hungry," Nam-ra stated coldly, stalking towards Dae-su which made the lad to start trashing around again.
"Nam-ra wait! Don't! Please don't!" Gone the snarky Hye-wol as she pleaded, "Stop this! Please! I'm scared!"
She's trembling----- how... she didn't know what to say, her mind blanked out at the sudden dark twist. Deep inside of her, she knows that things like this will eventually happen--- but no one could prepare her on how grotesque it will be. She thought she'll never witness something like this--- that they'll do it behind her back. She shouldn't have concluded by herself.
"Nam-ra, Su-hyeok, come on," Wu-jin tried to negotiate with the two, "Dae-su could be beneficial to us. He's strong and we could use that."
"He's clearly not going to do that," Su-hyeok spoke, "Just right now, he looks like he's going to kill us. We can't have a liability. He poses as a risk to our Hye-wol."
"Bare-su..." Dae-su looks betrayed, "Why?"
"Dae-su, just say that you'll going to help us!" Wu-jin exasperated, "Come on, do you want to die?"
"Do you want to be like Ji-min?" Joon-yeong added.
Dae-su's eyes fell on Ji-min's still body, her back facing them but the blood pooling around her body is enough for him to realize that no matter how close he is to Hye-wol, how disgusted he is to them, it's not enough for him to risk his life. And if he dies now? How would he able to tell the authorities about these crazy group of people he used to know.
"No."

Surprise?
Was it good?
I felt like I've been stretching the story so far that I'm afraid you guys are getting bored.
And I've already said it before. This is literally a dark story and I hope you guys are not mad at me for making the characters different from the way they are in the real drama and I hope it won't going to destroy your perception about them. This is an A.U and a literal canon-divergence.
