After a few minutes of Steven leaving the room, I opened my mouth and asked, "What the hell have you done to me?"
"What? What do you mean?" she replied.
"I've never been this open about my feelings before. Normally, I kept everything to myself, and nobody would know. But with you? I love saying how much I love you, and I didn't even think about the things I said to your brother. I mean them, and I would never say those things out loud to anyone but you."
"It's because I am amazing, and you love me, obviously," she said, smiling.
"Nah... I don't think so," I teased her.
"I hate you," she said, trying to sound serious, but a stupid smile came up. God, I'm lost. I love this girl so much.
I leaned in to kiss that smile, and after a few seconds, she kissed me back. Wrapping her arms around my neck, I wrapped mine around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Since the first time we kissed, all I could think about was doing it again. Feeling her close to me, so close that our clothes were the only things keeping us away, felt unreal. I've always thought the worst is going to happen.
And when I found out about Mom's sickness, I knew that I wasn't allowed to be happy until she got better. But I think I was wrong. Right now, I feel happy. I'm not the happiest because Mom still needs me, but this is the happiest I've been for so long that it doesn't feel real.
"Well... I love you."
"I still hate you, though."
"Yeah, whatever," I replied.
Now she was the one who got closer to give me a quick kiss. Before I could even respond, she got apart from me and started walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"To my room."
"Why?"
"To get changed. I'm hanging out with Nicole and the deb girls."
She opened the door and left the room.
Nicole... shit. I've hooked up with her sometimes before, and she misunderstood everything. She is constantly texting me to hang out and all that shit.
I've avoided her since Addie came to town, but every time it has become way harder. She is texting me and telling me that we should talk, that things ended up badly between us.
I remember the last thing I told her was that I wasn't good in a relationship, that I didn't want a girlfriend. And I thought it was true until Addie.
I should talk to Nicole; I know that. But I just can't find a good moment, or maybe that isn't my priority right now.

I've been walking with Tay and Belly for the last twenty minutes until we found Nicole, Gigi, and the other debutante girls sitting on the edge of the lake.
We sit and start talking for about an hour until Gigi said, "Let's play Never Have I Ever." We all agreed to that. "Never have I ever had sex," obviously that was the first question. I could see how everyone put a finger down except for Belly. So, she's been dating Jere for the past weeks, and they haven't...?
"Never have I ever gotten to the fourth base," Nicole adds.
Once again, all of us put another finger down except for Belly.
"To the third? Second?" Another girl adds, and now Belly is just shaking her head, saying no.
"Never have I ever made out with Jeremiah Fisher," I said, looking at her. She looks at me and with a shy smile, she puts a finger down. Gigi kinda seems sad, but I don't care, my sister needed me and I act. But at the end, I say, "Sorry, Gigi."
"It's okay," she answers.
"Never have I ever dated a Fisher boy," Tay said.
I look at Belly, but she was already looking at me. At the same time, we both put a finger down.
"Wait? Both of you?" Gigi asks.
"Yeah," Belly answers.
"But with the same guy? Or what?" Another girl asks.
"No," I answered.
"Adds, are you dating Conrad?" Nicole asks me directly.
"Yep," I respond, looking directly at her.
"Conrad Fisher? The mysterious brother?" Gigi asks again.
I just nodded. Now I feel uncomfortable.
"And when did you guys start dating?" Nicole asks. God, this girl is pissing me off.
"Some days ago."
"Oh really?"
"Yep."
The conversation ends here, but I still notice how Nicole and the debutante girls look at each other like talking with their minds.
"Let's go swimming," Nicole said out of nowhere.
"Alright," Belly said.
We didn't have our bathing suits with us, so you know what we had to do. We were swimming and talking.
Until they told us they were going for something to drink. Some minutes later we checked, and our clothes were gone. Just our phones and a little message on mine.
"Have fun with your boyfriend."
What? What does that mean?
I turned to call Belly and Tay, but they were already next to me. There were just our phones there and the blanket we were sitting on before.
"Well, this is going to be funny," I say, while Belly and Tay look at me with open eyes, understanding what I meant.
"On our way home, Belly said, "We can't go home like this."
"Call Jeremiah," Tay suggested.
"Yeah," even when Belly is going to call Jere, I texted Con.
"Hey"
"I kinda need u"
"Are u k?"
"It's going to sound funny u know"
"What happened?"
"It's possible that Nicole just stole our clothes"
"What?"
"What I just told you Conrad"
"You can be so stupid when you want"
"I need you to come and bring me clothes"
"Where are u?"

"What the hell just happened?" I muttered to myself, as I began to walk towards the door, but then Nicole blocked my path.
"Get out of my way!" I snapped, perhaps more aggressively than intended, but my girlfriend was out there naked, and I needed to reach her.
"Wait," she said.
"What?"
"I think this belongs to your girlfriend," she said, and then threw me a bag of clothes.
"What's your problem?" I demanded.
"What's MY problem? What's your problem, Conrad? We hooked up several times before, you were my escort last year, and I told you I wanted to be your girlfriend. You told me you didn't want that, I respected it, I waited, and now you're dating her?"
"I didn't ask you to wait, I don't want anything to do with you. Sorry, Nicole, but that's the truth. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go see my girlfriend, who is naked in the middle of the street because of you."
"Grow up, Conrad," she spat.
"Says the one who steals clothes because she's jealous," I shot back, and then walked away without looking back.
