It was a bright day in the forest: the sun was weaving through the trees and shining on your back. You were trying to hunt food for your next meal. You had been out for hours but you had finally caught something.
"May Eywa guide you." You said as you ended your prey's misery. That's when you heard a loud groan in the distance, your ears pricked at the sound.
You decided to check it out, making your way through the trees, to find Tsu'tey laying on the ground; heavily injured.
"Tsu'tey! What's happened to you?!" You screamed at the sight.
"Ugh...the sky people, they fought back again." He sighed, wincing in pain.
"Agh! Curse them! Let me get Mo'at, she can help-"
"No." Tsu'tey grabbed your hand. "Stay with me, please. I don't want to be alone."
Your heart stopped for a moment. "Ok...I'll stay. Let me see if I can find something to heal you." You looked around in your pouch bag for any herbs. "Ah, ok. Some of this should ease the pain."
You sprinkled the herbs onto his wounds. "Ah!" He yelped.
"It'll sting for a minute, but it'll work. Trust me." You held his head close to you.
"I trust you." He whispered as you wrapped a leaf over each wound to stop the blood from spilling anymore. His breathing slowed, he was calmer now. "Thank you, y/n."
"Do you think you can get up?" You asked, kidding his forehead.
"Not for a while."
"Well, I hunted something so we can eat when you feel ready."
"Just lay here." Your eyes widened. "With me, please y/n."
"Ok." You rested your head next to his, your eyes started to feel heavy. They drooped and you fell asleep. Before you fell, you heard a voice whisper in your ear.
"I see you, y/n."
