「3rd Person POV」
Chan, Changbin and Hyunjin were all chatting when a waitress came up to their table with some plates of food. She placed the food down on the table and then she left.
"Finally the food is here!" Changbin said excitedly. Already stuffing his mouth with fried chicken breasts.
Chan shook his head slightly at Changbin. Then he sighed before getting his chopsticks and picking up some food to eat. Hyunjin also started eating. The three of them were mostly eating and barely talking anymore. Most of the things they were saying was how good the food was.
*After finishing the dinner*
"Oh my god, I'm literally going to explode from eating so much!" Hyunjin said dramatically.
"Come on, let's go back to the Hwang Mansion now. We've been here for 2 hours already." Chan said.
They walked to the car and unlocked it. They got into the car and they sat in the same positions as earlier. Chan drove off after making sure that Hyunjin and Changbin all had seatbelts on. It was quiet on the way back, since there's really nothing to say now because they already said basically everything while driving here and eating.
Chan started to play some soft music to remove the complete silentness of the car ride. And it was all peaceful and everything for the next few minutes. Hyunjin was on his phone and Changbin was exercising with a 5 pound dumbbell that Changbin somehow found.
"Uhm, Chan? Hyunjin?" Changbin suddenly said at a red light.
"Yea?" Chan answered, and Hyunjin just hummed an answer.
"Was that always there before?" Changbin asked, pointing to a folded paper stuck in between the driver's seat and the arm rest.
Then Hyunjin's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "No, I don't think so. Chan did you put it there?" Hyunjin asked Chan.
Chan shook his head. "I didn't even know there was this paper here. And I don't think it was here before." Chan said.
"So, do you think... Someone was in this car and putted this paper in here while we were eating?" Changbin said with a worried tone.
Hyunjin stayed quiet. Then he reached over and grabbed the folded piece of paper. He read it and his eyebrows once again furrowed in confusion. "What? What is it?" Chan asked. He had started driving again because the lights were green now.
"Just wait until I get my hands on him... He'll pay for what he did to me. Hand him over and there won't be any problems." Hyunjin read aloud.
The three of them stayed quiet for about 5 seconds before Chan questioned, "What does that even mean?"
"No idea." Hyunjin replied. Everyone in the car was equally confused.
"Who's the threat even directing to?" Changbin asked.
"It doesn't say..." Hyunjin answered. "We'll study it later. Right now, check for secret listening devices and spy cameras." Hyunjin ordered. Folding the paper again and stuffing it into his pockets.
When they arrived at the Hwang Mansion, Changbin reported that there was neither listening devices nor spy cameras, but he wasn't sure and said the professionals would reinspect the car. Then afterwards Chan and Changbin left to go home because they didn't have any shifts to do.
Hyunjin went into his room where he found Felix. "Hey, where'd you go?" He asked Hyunjin.
"Nowhere." Hyunjin said back. He wasn't in the mood right now. He had to know who was behind this message, and who the threat is directed to. He had to know what happened while they were eating.
"Are you mad that I bought my brother home? Or is it the money that we spent?" Felix asked.
"Both." Hyunjin replied, annoyed. He took out the folded piece of paper and read it again. He just could understand it. He sighed and folded the paper and putted it down. "Don't touch or read this piece of paper while I'm taking a shower." Hyunjin said coldly.
Felix rolled his eyes and took out his phone. Hyunjin didn't trust him, but he grabbed his clothes and towel and headed into the bathroom. A few minutes after Felix heard the shower water turn on, Felix putted his phone down and looked around. He was getting more and more curious about that piece of paper Hyunjin clearly told him not to touch.
Felix got up from the bed and walked over to the desk where the folded paper was placed. He looked at it before he reached for it. He unfolded the paper and started to read it. As he was reading, his eyes widened and he froze. He didn't even realize that Hyunjin had came out of the bathroom and saw Felix reading note.
"What are you doing?!" Hyunjin yelled at Felix.
Felix doesn't move, he was frozen in place. Then he bursted into tears and fell to the floor, dropping the note and overnight his face with his tiny hands. He was shaking and crying. Hyunjin was confused, did he do something? Or was it the note? But why would Felix start crying and do this after reading the note...? Does he know who's behind it?
Hyunjin kneeled down next to Felix. "What's going on?" He asked Felix who was crying nonstop. "H-he's g-going to... Co-come a-after me!" Felix stuttered out, then started to cried even harder.
"Who's this 'he'?" Hyunjin questioned. Felix didn't answer, it seemed that he was scared of this guy. Hyunjin kept asking Felix questions about the note and the person behind it, but every question seemed to break Felix more and more. Jisung must've heard the loud cries and ran into Hyunjin's room. "What's going on?!" Jisung said, panicked. Then he saw Felix on the floor crying and Hyunjin kneeling down next to him, not even comforting him but asking him questions that made Felix cry harder and harder?!
"Oh my god! Felix!" Jisung said worriedly and ran to Felix's side and hugged him tight. "Why aren't you comforting him?!" Jisung yelled at Hyunjin.
And Hyunjin just said, "I don't do comforting." With a shrug.
"Oh, Felix, are you okay?" Jisung said softly to Felix who had calmed down a bit.
Jisung continued to comfort Felix until Felix fell asleep from crying. Hyunjin was just scrolling through his phone the whole time. And when Felix finally fell asleep, Jisung poked Hyunjin in the arm and said, "Help me get Felix onto the bed."
Hyunjin rolled his eyes before lifting Felix up. Felix was pretty light, so Hyunjin easily picked him up and placed him on the bed. Then Jisung pulled Hyunjin out of the room and closed the door. "What happened." Jisung said sternly.
"Where's Felix's brother?" Hyunjin asked.
"He's sleeping, now answer my question. What happened to Felix." Jisung said seriously.
"I actually have no idea. But I told him not to read this piece of paper and I went to shower, and when I came out of the bathroom. He was reading the note I told him not to even touch. And when I asked what he was doing, and then he started crying and dropped to the floor. He was also shaking really bad." Hyunjin said, then he got the piece of paper that he was talking about out and showed it to Jisung.
Jisung took the piece of paper and read it. Then he asked, "What is this?"
"I have no idea. But I think Felix knows." Hyunjin replied.
"Does Felix have some kind of connections with this?" Jisung questioned.
"Like I said, I have no idea what this note means and whatever Felix has to do with it." Hyunjin answered.
"Let's just wait till tomorrow when Felix wakes up and then we'll question him." Jisung sighed.
Hyunjin nodded. "You better be sleeping in your own bed, so when Felix needs something, you'll help him. Get it?" Jisung said, trying to sound threatening, but Hyunjin could tell that Jisung really was just worried for Felix. "Yea, yeah. Whatever." Hyunjin replied, then went into his room and sat on the bed looking at Felix who was asleep.
His tear stained cheeks, and a tear that was still running down his face. Hyunjin wiped his tear away, and continued to study Felix's face. His freckles were scattered across his cheeks, nose, and around his eyes. His freckles were beautiful, like stars across an night sky. His heart shaped lips that Hyunjin never tasted before. Hyunjin was thinking about Felix, and then suddenly stood up. "What was I doing? And what was I thinking about?!" Hyunjin mumbled, scolding himself.
Then he went over to his side of the bed and got into his bed and covered himself with the big blanket. Hyunjin couldn't stop thinking about what happened to him while looking at Felix. After a while, Hyunjin finally fell asleep and dream of nothing.
