I could see him talking to MJ's father, and he motioned for me to come over.
"Go. Loverboy is calling you." Ren said from my side.
"But I can't leave you alone." I replied.
"Don't worry about me. I'll go find Gorya to talk to. I wanted to talk to her anyways." he said.
"Okay" I replied and stood up and took gentle but confident strides towards Kavin.
As I reached them, he put a firm hand around my waist from the side and said, "Mr. Jurastiwa, this is my fiancee. And Amara, this is MJ's father."
"Hello, Mr. Jurastiwa" I said. "I know that he's MJ's father" I said to Kavin.
"Hello, Amara dear. Your fiancee huh? I can still remember a small you running around our house, chasing the boys. When did all of you grow up?" he said rhetorically, clearly remembering those days. Who could believe that behind all that mafia facacde, he had a soft heart deep down? Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and MJ wasn't unlike him in any way. Behind his badboy aura, he had the most loyal and kind heart hidden.
"So, I heard you came back. How was it in the USA?" asked MJ's father.
"Yeah...it was really good but it's better here." I replied.
"I can understand the feeling, child"
"So, how are you sir?" I asked.
"Don't call me sir, and this old lad is fine as it is" he replied.
"Hey, Amara. I think we should get going now. " said Kavin in my ear.
"It was nice meeting you, Mr. Jurastiwa. But I guess it's time for us to leave now." I said.
"The pleasure is all mine dear. You should get going now, your hubby is getting impatient " he said.
"Bye sir" I said to his father.
"Bye Amara" he replied.
"Bye, MJ" I said.
"Bye Amara, take care." he replied
Then, MJ bro-hugged Kavin, after which we left. It was still early to leave, but I was grateful for it. I couldn't handle funerals. I hadn't cried today, which was a great feat.
After my Grandma from my father's side died, funeral's weren't the same for me anymore. Even though I didn't know Pakorn personally, I felt pitty for his family that had to bear his loss. Loosing a family member that you love can easily be the worst pain of someone's life, and I would never wish on my worst enemy to go through this pain, not that I had one. Enemy, I mean.
I was pulled out oof my thoughts by Kavin, "Hey, Amara. Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, funerals are just a bit tough for me." I honestly replied.
"Oh. Our car's here. Let's go, shall we?"
"Yes."
And with that he opened the passenger seat for me and closed it behind me once I sat in.
"Thank you." I said once he was also seated.
"What for?" he asked, looking genuinely confused.
"For being here today with me. Your presence alone made me feel better." I said.
"I tend to have that effect on ladies." he replied boastfully.
"Hey" I said as I hit his shoulder.
"What was that for?" he asked, faking to be offended.
"For making your fiancee jealous" I replied.
"Is my dear little Amie jealous?" he laughed as he came closer and squished my cheeks.
"Don't" I laughed as I squatted his hands away.
"Okay. Now let's go!" he said as he pressed his foot hard on the gas. I immediately jerked forward and shouted, earning a laugh from him.
"If you do that again, consider yourself dead Kittiyangkul" I said faking anger.
"I'd be more than happy to die at our hands, mi lady" he replied while putting a hand on his chest.
"I can't even stay angry at you" I said. I really couldn't. His playful remarks and acts of flirteousness never let me be angry at him for long.
"Again, I have an effect on ladies" he said.
"Yeah, yeah. Right." I said as I was now kinda pissed off how he could talk about being a playboy so easily in front of me, and when I mention it, Mr's big ego is hurt.
"We have arrived at our destination." he said as he pulled up at a lavish-looking restaurant.
"I think our destination should've been home." I said.
"I like to treat my ladies before having sex. But if you're impatient, I could make an exception for you." he said, with a smirk on his face.
"No thank you. And I was talking about my house, not yours" I said confidently.
"Ours, babe." he replied as he put his hand on the small of my back and took me towards the restaurant.
I would be lying if I said he wasn't affecting me, and he was just making me feel things just with his touch. I don't if it is him or the lack of male touch I have had since I came to Thailand, but I need to get laid, and that too fast. Because if this continues, I am dead for.
"Already thinking dirty?" he whispered in my ears as we entered the restaurant.
"I'm not thinking about you, if that's what you mean." I said. I lied. Partially.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night." he said as we sat down on a table reserved for us. This man really plans ahead.
"So, Amie...tell me about yourself." he said as he started filling water in both of our glasses.
"Oh ok...so I'm a student at Kocher High and am engaged to a playboy. Anything else that you would like to know?" I said as I took a sip from the cold yet refreshing water.
Just then, a water came over and took our orders. I pad thai while he ordered tom yum goong.
"Let's play 20 questions till the food gets here" he suggested.
"Ok...you start."
"Sure...are you a virgin." he asked while smirking.
"No" I replied. I saw his eyes widen ever so much so I added, "Not the answer you expected, huh?"
"I'll admit it. You took me by surprise." he said. "It's your turn."
"What's your body count? I guess that's a question the whole country wants the answer to." I asked.
"Let me be honest, I don't know. I'm glad you consider my dick a national treasure." he said.
"More of a public service, Kittiyangkul. But the pleasure is mine." I replied while giving him a sick smile. I'm not innocent and he isn't either.
"I'll become private for you, love." he said and I could see him cringing a but at his own words. Don't blame him coz my face held the same expression of disgust.
"Ask me a question, Kittiyangkul."
"Of course, love. Would you have sex with me?" he asked with a smirk on his face.
"Depends. How big is your dick?" I asked. We were talking really dirty.
"Enough to make you scream and paint my back with your nails, love." he replied.
"Stop calling me 'love' " I said, but it came out weak and submissive. WTF is wrong with you Amara?
"You seem to like it though, love" he said.
And then our food was here, so we started eating. It was really good and I ate really fast. He seemed really hungry too by the way he ate.
"Waiter" he called as a waiter came over.
"Put the bill on this card." he said as he handed the card.
I hurridly searched for my card to give it to the waiter. "Put half of the bill on mine" I said.
But as I was handing it to the waiter, Kavin stood up, jerked the card form my hand, and urged the waiter to go. Then he handed me my card back, made the transaction, held me hand and took me outside, all in the matter of a minute.
"What the fuck, Kavin?" I said as we walked out.
"What?" he asked.
"Why didn't you let me pay the bill?" I asked annoyed.
"Because it was our first date, and besides it was my treat." he replied.
"Whatever" I said and started walkin faster than him. As I reached the car, I started pulling on the car door but it would not budge.
I turned around and he was right behind me. "Open the door Kavin" I warned him.
He held out the keys in the air and said "Take them if you can." with a big smirk plastered on his face.
Fuck. He is so taller than me. But he challenged me. Challenge accepted.
I put one hand on his shoulder for support and reached out on my tip-toes and held out my other hand to reach for the keys. But he was still too long. I tried to reach out further but in vain.
So, I got back on my feet and leaned against the car and crossed my arms.
"I lost. Now can you please take me home." I said with a pout on my face.
He put one arm on the hood of the car just beside my head and leaned in.
"Of course, love" he replied.
That's when I looked into his eyes. Kavin has beautiful eyes. I have always envied him for them. But now I was lost in his orbes and couldn't seem to come back. Fuck everything. I want to kiss him. I leaned in slowly to see if he was interested too. He seemed to sense what I was doing, so he also leaned in. I could see his eyes glistening and that's when our lips collided.
He was trying to gain entry into my mouth but I was not easy to grant it. He bit my lower lip and that's when a gasp left my mouth and he entered into my mouth. I put my arms around his neck and he put his hands on the side of my waist.
The kiss was so passionate and heated that when we pulled away, both of us were breathless.
"That was sure something" I said as I connected my forehead with his.
"Did you not like it?" he asked as he pulled away, confusion all over his face.
"I didn't like it" I said as his confusion grew more.
"I loved it" I smiled brightly, and captured him into a hug.
"Oh my god Amara. You had got me scared for a while." he said and put his nose into my neck, inhaling my scent.
"You smell like heaven, love" he mumbled into my neck.
I nodded and then pulled back from the hug.
"Let's go home, shall we?" I asked, and he nodded.
He opened the door for me and I sat inside. Then he went over and sat in the driver's seat.
"Where to, Miss Amara?" he asked.
"My home please" I replied while laughing.
"Awe...I thought that I deserved some sex, but oh. Whatever." he said and started laughing.
"We will be engaged soon, Kittiyangkul. You'll have all the time to have sex with me then" I replied giggling. In that moment, it felt like we were just two teenagers at the moment, laughing about school. But no. We were two hiers of the biggest families of Thailand, and were forced to marry out of our will.
"Let's go now" he said as he noticed my serious expression and drove off.
"Amara, I just want you to know that I was joking about having sex. I'll never do anything withour your consent. Okay?" he said as he looked towards me for a brief second.
"Mhmm" I replied as I started out of the window.
The rest of the drive was silent and we reached my home in no time.
"Your destination has arrived, Miss Amara. How would you like to pay your driver?" he joked.
"With a kiss on his lips" I replied as I gave him a quick peck on his lips and opened the door to leave.
"Heyyy..that doesn't count!" he whined as he pouted like a small child.
"Later Kavin" I said as I waved towards him.
"Bye, love" he replied and kept waiting there till I wasn't inside.
